Viasat is looking for a 2018 summer intern in SiGe/CMOS RFIC Design Engineering. We are seeking interns who demonstrate high academic achievement, strong motivational skills, and who have the capability to work in several disciplines. In this role, you will grow your engineering career as you: Review product yield and field reliability data for trends and provide analysis and recommendations to business. As a quality professional, you will help drive root cause investigations and process improvement efforts as well as create/implement world class quality practices (i.e. Pareto Analysis, Histograms, Cause & Effect Diagrams, Cpk, etc.) and business tools to help streamline this analysis. You will contribute and provide input to evaluate quality performance of ViaSat products. Help coordinate Corrective Action Requests (CARs) and Failure Analysis Requests (FARs) for improvement. Conduct and provide analysis on Gage R&R studies. Create and analyze internal quality metrics in order to provide and implement solutions to help improve our processes and become more effective while maintaining high levels of quality Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline Some experience in Quality Engineering in support of electronic assemblies including SMT CCAs, Box Build and Test. Working knowledge of PLM Tool (Agile) as well as ERP system (i.e. Oracle). Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, & Power Point. Strong math, statistics and data analysis skills US citizenship required

3 Strong General knowledge of product assembly, test and associated Quality Metrics Ability to provide testing and validation of Test Data and Analysis tools Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, & Power Point. Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of data analysis and statistics ViaSat is located in Tempe, Arizona in the ASU Technology Center. Arizona is a lovely winter haven and the golfing and resort Mecca of the Southwest. As a ViaSat Intern you will be developing signal processing algorithms for the modulation and demodulation of communication signals. Our algorithms will be characterized though simulations you develop eventually will flow into actual products. If you are interested in signal acquisition, symbol tracking, carrier tracking, and detection we have a place for you! Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics US citizenship required Course work in communication theory and digital signal processing Knowledge of probability theory, spectral analysis, and control theory Experience writing discrete-time simulation Experience with Matlab

We are seeking interns who demonstrate high academic achievement, strong motivational skills, and who have the capability to work in several disciplines. As a Test Engineer intern you will assist in the day to day test development activities of new products for advanced satellite communications systems. You will also help develop a platform for software, hardware and firmware integration and regression testing. Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
