1 WELCOME LETTER We are pleased to welcome you as the newest team member of Professional Builders Cleaning (PBC)! The enclosed information is designed to serve as an introduction to and provide resources that will help you make a smooth transition into your new role. We are here to support your transition, please let your hiring manager know if you have any questions. 3 Engagement documentations: 1. PBC is using sub-contactor engagement model rather than full-time employment. Hence every staff member is required to obtain ABN. ABN registration is a free and simple online process that takes 15 minutes. Link: 2. Please, download Independent Contractor Agreement.YellowLevel.pdf, print 2 copies, sign and bring them to Supervisor 3. Obtaining White card or Blue card is a legal requirement to work. It can be done online by completing a Works Safety online course. There are multiple providers, for example, 4. For Green and Red staff members PBC pays Superannuation on top of usual payrate. Please fill in the form Superannuation Choice Form.pdf in the folder, If you do not have superfund in Australia, PBC will open a super account for you at our default superfund MLC ( 5. As per Subcontractor agreement every 2 nd and 4 th Sunday of the month every staff member is required to issue an invoice to PBC for the job done for the previous 2 weeks. The template for invoice Invoice.xls you will find on PBC website or in the folder. You are welcome to use your own template containing all required information Name, ABN, Total amount, GST incl and so on. Invoices are paid within 7 days so please budget your personal finances accordingly. 6. PBC is using Google Sheet web application for documentation exchange. In order to use Google Sheets is required. Please create an account if you don t have one. Then, please, install application Google Sheet on your phone, tablet or PC. Sign in with you provided to PBC. In the tab Shared with me you will find files required for your work. 7. Rostering. To allow correct job allocation every staff member is required to update rostering file in a timely and prompt manner (at least twice a week) and notify supervisor of any changes in a schedule. Instructions for roster update: Open file Roster 2 and find a sheet with your name. Mark the days when you are available to work. 8. At 4pm each staff member is required to report back to the supervisor about 1)job completed, 2)sign off sheets signed, 3)tools and equipment returned, 4)any difficulties and 4)availability to work the next day

4 Working Time/Payment Guidelines Every staff member at Professional Builders Cleaning (PBC) is hired under ABN, please note, it is not a full-time employment, therefore PBC does not reimburse for any travel or training. In most cases payment is fixed per room, per apartment or per house. For example one room is $20, it is up to you how quickly you clean this room, if it takes you 1 hour, you have earned $20, if it takes you 2 hours, you earned $20, if it takes you 30 min, you still earned $20. In a fixed price per item/per room/per house scenario, you can take as many breaks as you like. Please consider your speed of work, your health and energy levels to plan your work accordingly. Normal working hours are from 7am to 4pm. Please discuss it with the office or your supervisor if you need to stay behind to complete the job. Supervisor is assigned to every job and project. Supervisor s duty is to manage the project, oversee the induction process, train new staff members, supply tools and chemicals, interact with the client and onsite supervisors, and monitor the quality of work. Please be aware that all work performed will be checked. If the quality of work is not up to standard or you have missed something, supervisor will ask you to come back and fix it. In circumstances when another staff member has to finish the job or fix the flaws, that amount will be deducted from your pay. Typical Workday Instructions 1. Arrive earlier (usually before 7am) to receive your cleaning gears if you are a Green level staff member. If you use your own toolkit, make sure all your equipment is tagged and all bottles with chemicals have relevant labels. 2. Send message to supervisor that you have arrived (or find our supervisor on a site to inform about your arrival). 3. Undergo a safety induction onsite, if required. 4. Ask your supervisor what scope of work for today and payment for the work assigned. Find water supply and a power point to plug equipment in. 5. Check premises (your work area) for any major damages or unfinished work (such as unpainted surfaces, broken or missing widows, missing tiles, etc). Take notes when you work. Inform your supervisor or onsite supervisor (client s representative) about your findings, which can affect your job. Follow instructions you are given. 6. Please note, if you find scratches, broken items, etc., take photo of it and discuss with a supervisor, otherwise you might be asked to pay for it. 7. If you find any excessive paint, render, silicone, etc., take a photo of it and discuss with a supervisor before removing it. In many cases PBC has an agreement with a client about extra payments for excess work. Your supervisor will review the case and will let you know to go ahead or leave it for responsible trade to remove it themselves.

5 8. If you find any residue impossible to remove, consult with a supervisor about options. 9. After you have completed your job, take time for a quick inspection. If you missed something, please fix it. 10. At the end of the job If you work under supervision of PBC supervisor: a. find him/her and ask to check your job. b. If you used our equipment and cleaning gears, return them to the supervisor in the same conditions as you borrowed them in the morning. Empty vacuum cleaner dust bag! If you work independently, without PBC supervisor: a. find a site supervisor and ask him to check your job. b. If everything is good, ask him/her to sign a Sign Off Sheet (you will find template in the folder. Please, print out at least 10 blank copies). If you don t do it, we will not be able to pay you, because we do not know if the appropriate job has been done. c. Send message to our supervisor that you have finished your job and heading off. 11. The cleaning standard has to be achieved at all time. You ll find that you work slower in the beginning. Builders cleaning are a slight different to other cleaning jobs. It is more physical and requires knowledge about chemicals and ways on how to get rid of different substances eg: paint, grout, render, silicon. 12. Please be patient and give yourself a couple of weeks to learn all tricks and tips. Every person has a different learning and working speed. 13. We are committed to provide you all the training necessary. Please read cleaning instructions and chemical sheet carefully, watch videos and ask your supervisor thousands of questions. Take responsibility for your work and if unsure ask for instructions. Unless you have Liability and Professional Insurances, damages can be very costly especially if paid out of your own pocket. Unsure? Ask or leave it. 14. Please remember that you represent Professional Builders Cleaning company when at work. We pride ourselves in building relationships based on mutual respect and open communication. Be polite and friendly when you work with other trades in one room. Collaborate so they also do their work. If it is impossible to work together, please discuss options with a supervisor. 15. Our job depends on client s schedule so please be flexible, be prepared for workload/time/day adjustments. We are here to make your transition and your work smooth and uncomplicated.
