The role of Senior Administrator will manage the administration function of our Performance team who look after our players, coaches and support staff at an amateur elite level of golf. As with all aspects of administration with young people, we have a responsibility for safeguarding, equity and other governance issues to take into consideration. The Senior Administrator will co-ordinate the day to day administration within the Performance department and oversee the work of two administrators. You must be able to demonstrate: Knowledge and prior experience of administrative procedures; Organisational skills and the ability to develop effective processes for delivery; Excellent written and spoken communication skills with attention to detail; Time management skills and the ability to prioritise and delegate work effectively; Competent use of IT tools. A knowledge of golf is not essential. The post is full-time (Monday Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm core hours). The position is based at England Golf HQ in Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire. 2 Job Description Post Title: Senior Administrator (Performance Department) Grade: 3 Department: Responsible To: Performance Performance Director Responsible For: Performance Department Administrators x 2 Purpose: To manage the administration function of our Performance team who look after our players, coaches and support staff at an amateur elite level of golf. Working Relationships: Internal: Performance Director regular communication and meetings as necessary; Performance Managers (Male and Female Golf); County Talent Development/DiSE Manager; National and Regional Coaches; National and Regional Managers; Other departments as required. External: Communication with coaches, team/squad managers, players and parents as required. Main Duties and Key Responsibilities: Manage the Performance administrators; Co-ordinate and deliver the day to day administration within the Performance Department in association with the Performance Director, Performance Managers and England Teams/ squad events; Manage and continually evolve the online systems, including our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System, which is used and accessed for the management of player and performance administration; Work with the Performance Director to develop, improve and implement the processes for dealing with all customer enquiries; Co-ordinate and update the England Golf website on a daily basis in respect of all England performances, coaching activities including update of scores database; Co-ordinate the administration and update of the England Golf Order of Merit tables on completion of events and publish on the website; Work with the Governance Department to deliver England Golf policy documents; Manage the supply, distribution, storage and stock control of England Golf playing kit and equipment; To schedule and co-ordinate all national squad coaching sessions, making the best use of the National Academy at Woodhall Spa and future competitive venues where applicable in association with the Performance Director, Performance Managers and Squad Managers and National Coaches;

3 Provide administration support to the Regional u18 Manager (DiSE) programme; Provide administration support to National and Regional coaches and managers, including the Sport Science and medicine team in association with the Performance Managers; Manage the storage of all information relating to the performance department; Collate and produce all relevant coaching calendars in association with the Performance Managers and administrators; Manage the systems for handling all players funding including Individual Coaching Awards, Athlete Performance Awards, Personal Awards, SportsAid Awards, Players Fund grants, Uzielli and Bellamy awards; Manage invoices and expense claims in line with England Golf financial regulations; Identify failing systems and processes and propose recommendations for change; Identify and recommend training needs in response to department work for the administration team; Work with other members of the Performance and Governance teams on specific projects as and when required; Provide administration support to the Performance Director, Performance Managers and County Talent Development/DiSE Manager; Provide the Performance Director with weekly updates of the activity of the Performance Department Office; Co-ordinate and support the production of the annual administrator work programmes, in line with the department s annual delivery plan; Undertake performance reviews as required. Location: England Golf Headquarters, Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire with travel required as necessary with teams and squads as determined by the Performance Director.

4 Person Specification Post Title: Department: Senior Administrator Performance ESSENTIAL DESIRABLE Attainment: Good level of education (GCSE s to A level or equivalent). Administration or business administration qualification. Knowledge: Skills: Competencies/ Behaviours: Able to solve problems within area of work/knowledge. Knowledge of administrative procedures and of preparing reports, minutes, general correspondence and arranging travel. Knowledge of Data Protection principles. Competent use of IT tools including spreadsheets, word processing, , online communication and networking tools. Excellent written and spoken communication skills with attention to detail. Organisational skills and the ability to develop effective processes for delivery. Able to plan and work to deadlines. Accurate and thorough approach. Customer focused approach. Performance/business focused and prepared to deliver against targets. Is able to review, learn from experience and implement new initiatives. Time management skills and the ability to prioritise work effectively. Approachable, friendly and willingly offer support and assistance to colleagues and customers. Looks ahead in order to develop, improve and maintain clear outcome-based strategies. Ability to delegate to administrators relevant work and enable skill development. Proven track record of motivating others.

5 Relevant Experience: Prior Administration/ Secretarial role. Prior use of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System. Experience of managing people. Experience of coaching and/or education relevant to this support. Any other requirement: A good standard of personal presentation. Knowledge of the game of golf.
