7 CLEAN s Skills Programme Ï Ï Ï Ï Ï Ï Supply skilled workforce to enterprises Provide information valuable to DRE sector, such as profiles of skilled personnel, profile of CLEAN members, technology providers, vendors, etc. helpful to business development, job identification Conduct specialised training programs for skilled or semi-skilled technicians( backbone of DRE companies) to create livelihood opportunities in remote areas. Create DRE labs in rural locations, which will provide training for locals to serve in technical and semi-technical roles. Deepen existing partnership with skill development agencies such as Skills Council for Green Jobs (SCGJ) and provide targeted inputs in training programs. Provide all modules and training material on CLEAN s website

Contribute to revising existing standards to benefit make in India and leverage global market for DRE Industry, specifically CLEAN members Facilitate technology transfer to DRE Industry, CLEAN members from Indian designers (IITs, CSIR, NISE, other such agencies), technology from other countries Identify missing technology pieces and contribute to develop solutions such as DC powered appliances Support CLEAN members in filing Intellectual Property Rights Contribute to development of common toolkits, manuals and Standard Operating Practices Identify specific DRE markets, products and contribute to market research, and development of product profiles Market development to (i) promote clean cooking systems, (ii) RE based industrial heat applications and (iii) RE based livelihoods/ enterprises Contribute to the development of customized market models 13
