People Management / Coaching / Development / Resourcing Is actively involved within the team Demonstrates a high level of commitment to people, product and process Budget Management / Financial Responsibilities / Revenue / Sales / Cost Management / Cost Control Ensures that they actively manage their establishment to the correct level Ensures that the planning of rotations takes into account the various terms and conditions of employment. Ensures that the planning of rotations is in line with the Crew Repatriation Schedule. Ensures the full utilization of individuals within their working pattern Ensures that when making changes to rotations, the cost implications are measured against the need of the operation. Ensures that MAPS is accurate therefore driving an accurate payroll each month Ensure OCS requirements are in line with Workforce Plan requirements and handover matrix Customer Responsibilities (Internal & External Customers) Regular communication with the fleets to ensure that expectations are being met. To ensure that the customer is always at the centre of the decision being made To ensure that all individuals are treated fairly and consistently within policies Regular interaction with the manning offices Regular and proactive engagement with the talent acquisition team to ensure the correct demand is being raised and the timeliness of new hires or promotions is happening. Technical (including systems) and/or Professional Responsibilities Ensure MAPS is correct and up to date with all postings and contract information Administration Responsibilities Produce and publish rotation plans for designated areas. 3 Monitors gaps in all rotation plans and ensures action is taken to address them in a timely fashion. To maintain an accurate promotional waitlist for their designated area Working together with Travel teams to ensure all joiners and leavers lists are correct Liaising with manning agencies / third parties to advise joining dates for crew Ensure that PADs are submitted with correct information regarding crew movements ensuring accurate payroll at the end of the month. Ensure rotation plans are in line with contractual entitlements in order to effectively utilise establishment Maintain accurate establishment records of live staff in MAPS Other Responsibilities Demonstrate CUK and Seabourn behaviors within the department Assist in any ad hoc projects Provide cover for other colleagues during leave, sickness and busy periods Apply policies and procedures as detailed in the Sea Staff Policies and Procedures Manual. HESS Responsibilities Lead by example by taking care of the health and safety of yourself and others Report all accidents, near miss incidents and work related ill health conditions to your manager and to the Facilities department. Follow safety rules and procedures Use work equipment, personal protective equipment, substances, and safety devices correctly Take part in safety training & risk assessments and suggest ways of reducing risks. Act safely in accordance with our Elev8 safety behaviours General Responsibilities Adheres to Corporate Policies and Procedures, including Code of Conduct, Audit Procedures and any control related responsibility for financial data entered, stored, or reported via business systems within employees control (list not exhaustive). 4 Markview PADs Other Features of Job (travel, hours of work, working conditions etc): Normal daily working routine of 7 hours/day, core hours hrs must be covered in agreement with your line Mgmt On call on the Emergency Helpline Number during Out of Hours on a weekly rotation basis in the department. An additional payment is made when undertaking this task On call as and when required. To undertake ship visits when vessels of responsibility call in Southampton. Person Specification Education, Qualifications and Training GCSE s at Grade C and above or equivalent Good Computer skills A Grade GCSE in Geography or equivalent Experience High volume scheduling experience Pressurised office environment Experience in the cruise logistics Onboard Experience Understanding of the onboard Structures Work Based Competencies Competencies that refer to the specific work related skills required for successful performance in the role. (e.g. technological competence, written ability, numerical ability, relevant legislative or procedural understanding, analytical ability, organisational ability and project management etc. Good analytical skills Business Writing skills (letters, s, faxes etc) Computer literate Ability to multi-task Page 6 of 4
