1 This Information Asset List has been prepared in accordance with the Re-use of Public Sector Information Regulations 2015 (the 2015 Regulations ). This asset list should be read in conjunction with Community Safety Glasgow s Policy on the Re-use of Public Sector Information Regulations The 2015 Regulations establish a framework for making the re-use of public sector information easier. The legislation compliments existing access to information legislation including the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 and the Environmental Information (Scotland) Regulations The purpose of this Information Asset List: allow the public to see what information is available (and what is not available) in relation to each class provide contact details for enquiries and to make a request for re-use How to make a request for information contained within the Information Asset List You can apply for the re-use of any of the information contained within this list. All requests must meet the following requirements: 1. They must be in writing to CSG; 2. They must provide a name and address for us to contact; 3. They should set out the information requested and the purpose for which the documentation is to be re-used. 2 Exempt Information We will publish the information we hold that falls within the classes of information below. If a document contains information that is exempt under Scotland s freedom of information laws (for example sensitive personal information or a trade secret), we will remove of redact the information before publication and explain why. Availability and formats Where possible and relevant, we will make information available in both a human readable format (such as PDF) and an open, machine readable format that is not dependent on specific software. We will make information available electronically where possible. Terms and conditions of re-using information If CSG receives two requests from different applicants for the same information, it cannot discriminate between them. For this reason, CSG (other than in exceptional circumstances) cannot grant exclusive rights to re-use the information. If CSG grants an application for re-use of information, an applicant will require to agree to our terms and conditions of re-use, in accordance with our Licenses. Depending upon the information requested, CSG may require either: 1. CSG Open Licence (based on the Non-Commercial Government Licence) or 2. CSG Charged Licence For further information on charging, please refer to our Policy on the Re-use of Public Sector Information Regulations This policy also advises you how to complain if you are dissatisfied with any aspect of this Information Asset List. 2
