3 Scope The Global Wind Organisation (GWO) is an association of wind turbine owners and manufacturers established in 2009 with the aim to strive towards an injury free work environment in the wind industry through cooperation among its members and other stakeholders in setting common industry best practice standards for health and safety related training. All Training Providers certified to deliver Basic Technical Training may be allowed to upload BTT records based on verification of merited pre-existing training and gap training. The purpose of this document is to provide guidance on the requirements and the process. For merited training that may be verified and recognized as basis for BTT gap training, please see annex 1. As of Version 1 of this document, Members legacy training packages against which gap analysis has been completed and approved are as follows: - Siemens level Vestas Service D - Enercon (various) 3 / 9

5 Application and Process The following process of application, terms and rights apply: 1. Training Providers certified to deliver Basic Technical Training may apply for rights as merit assessor by completing Annex 2 and sending it to info@globalwindsafety.org. 2. Once application has been received and approved, a new and separate account must be created in WINDA. This separate account shall be used only for upload of merited training records. 3. Gap training may only be performed based on verification and documentation of the pre-existing training received by the delegate. See BTT Gap Matrix in Annex 1 of this document. 4. Delivery of gap training must cover as a minimum the learning objectives as detailed in Annex 1: BTT Gap Matrix, and in the corresponding BTT module description. 5. Upon successful completion of verification and gap training corresponding training records shall be uploaded to the WINDA merit profile following normal terms and conditions. a. Training Providers must create a new Temporary Merit Assessor Profile in WINDA to upload merit records. 6.
