3 Objectives: To meet industry demand for a skilled workforce The only priority that has received external funding from the federal government specifically for apprenticeship Maximize access to training (in both official languages, as appropriate by jurisdiction) to meet the needs of employers, apprentices and trade qualifiers Facilitate mobility Maximize operational efficiencies Maximize employer / apprentice awareness and engagement First two years harmonize four trades Next two years harmonize an additional six trades 3
