1 Catholic Charities of Central Colorado Announcement of Open Position Position Title: Marketing & Sales Assistant (PT) Department: Communications Date Open: October 7, 2014 Closing Date: October 22, 2014 Summary of Position Duties Help develop and implement strategic sales plans for Marian House Sponsor a Day program Develop market analysis to identify potential customers Develop and manage client and agency relationships Manage projects to ensure timely completion Responsible for assisting with sales/marketing and advertising campaigns Deliver sales presentations/proposals to prospective clients with a successful closing rate Report weekly sales forecasts Responsible for achieving initial program launch sales and growing program in subsequent years through repeat and new sales Minimum Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated experience working in sales Strong organizational and follow-up skills Above average desktop computer skills with experience in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Bachelor s degree and one year experience in sales, marketing, and/or business development Ideal candidate must be confident in a selling environment that entails in-person and phone sales. 2 Catholic Charities Job Description Marketing and Sales Assistant Reports To: Department: Full Performance Period: Eligible for Overtime: Titles Supervised: Chief Communications Officer Advancement Six Months Yes None General Purpose To market and obtain sales for the Marian House Sponsor a Day program by soliciting and selling sponsorships for meals at the Marian House. Must have a valid driver s license and use personal vehicle to travel to appointments. Physical Demands and Work Environment These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the Marketing and Sales Assistant.
