The undersigned is directed to say that Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change requires services of suitable officer on deputation to fill up the one post of Senior Administrative Officer in the pay band of Rs. 15, (PB-3) with grade pay of Rs. 6,600/- (pre-revised Rs. 10, ,200) in Botanical Survey of India, Kolkata (a subordinate office under this Ministry). 2. The details of the eligibility criteria are given in Annexure-I & Annexure- II. 3. Only such applications which are accompanied by the personal data (in triplicate) in the proforma given in Annexure-III will be considered. 4. Departmental Officers in the feeder category who are in direct line of promotion will not be eligible for appointment on deputation. Similarly, deputationists will not be eligible for promotion. 5. Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or other organization/department of Central Government shall not exceed three years. The maximum age limit for appointment on deputation shall be not exceeding fifty six years as on the closing date for receipt of applications. Contd..2

It is requested that the names of the eligible Officers, who are willing and can be spared immediately in the event of selection may be forwarded so as to reach this Ministry within two months from the date of publication of the advertisement in Employment News (i.e ) while forwarding the applications, it may please be ensured that no disciplinary/vigilance case is either pending or being contemplated against the officer. The details of the eligibility criteria for each of the post are given in Annexures-I & II. 3. Only such applications which are accompanied by the requisite personal data (in triplicate) in the Bio-data proforma given in Annexure-III will be considered. 4. 4 ANNEXURE-I Name of the Post, Scale of Eligibility Conditions Pay & No. of Posts Sr. Administrative Officer, Pay Band 3 of Rs. Officers of the Central Government or State Governments or Union territories with grade pay of Rs. 6,600/-. (1 post) (a) (i) Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or (ii) With 5 year regular service in posts in pay band- 3 of Rs. 15,600-39,100 plus grade pay of Rs or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department; (b) (i) Degree from a recognized University (ii) Five years administrative experience of administration, accounts and establishment work in a Government office or a Public Body or an Autonomous Body. Note. The departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion will not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly, deputationist shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion. (Period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same organisation/department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 3 years).

(1 post) (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or (ii) With 5 year regular service in the grade in pay band-3 of Rs. 15,600-39,100 plus grade pay of Rs or pay band-2, Rs plus grade pay of Rs.5400 or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department; or (iii) with six years regular service in the grade in pay band-2, Rs plus grade pay of Rs.4800 or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department. Note : Period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same organisation/department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 3 years).
