2 Message from the Vice President - Customer Support It gives me great pleasure to release the TIL customer training calendar for FY for Material Handling Equipment. At TIL, we recognize that people are the greatest assets and success is achieved through trained and motivated employees who are performance-driven at all times. Towards fulfilling this need, our Training Department has scheduled a range of developmental training programs that are tailor made to meet business as well as individual training needs. We are committed to actively assist, encourage and harness the technical capabilities of our employees through these training programs. This Calendar is a compilation of the training programs scheduled to be carried out round the year. The trainings are designed to empower the participants with positive confidence and higher level of proficiency so that they can demonstrate and render adequate support to field equipment. The program is multifold with various training modules covering all the needs appropriately. This Capability Development Program (CDP) provides a unique opportunity for understanding industry best practices that would not only enhance individual knowledge but also facilitate safe operations at site. 3 The different training modules have been categorized into Operators Training, Basic Training and Advanced Training. Operators Training Module : For Operators and Supervisors Mainly for Crane Operators and Supervisors, this training module will focus on the functions and operations of different crane controls and safe methods of operating the crane. This will also include sessions on reading the load chart to make suitable settings, basic daily checks, general dos & don ts, along with hands-on training on periodic maintenance and upkeep. OPRT - Level 1 Training on Rough Terrain OPTM - Level 1 Training on Truck Mounted Basic Module: For all Engineers or Tech-1 Suitable for Engineers /, the course is designed to provide a good understanding of Basic Hydraulics, Electrical & Electronics used on mobile equipment and also imparts basic knowledge to handle the crane in a safe way. Advanced Training Module: For all Engineers or who have attended the Basic Module Training. On attending this course the participants will further develop on their basic knowledge to acquire and have clear understanding of Hydraulic & Electrical circuits including their working mechanism. It also enables them to carry out trouble shooting diagnostics and minor repairs in addition to periodic maintenance as per schedule. Crane Operators On-site Training 3 Tech RT -1 Indigenous 4 OPTM-1 Service Training on Rough Terrain (RT) Operator Training on Truck Mounted (TM) This training is intended to provide the field service engineers with basic knowledge of periodic maintenance, Minor repairs & troubleshooting on RT. The curriculum provides insight on salient features of RT, Specification & Load chart, Operations & Controls of hydraulic system, Operating techniques & Safety, Electrical circuit & Wiring diagram, Basic transmission system (construction, function & operation), Field complaints & Troubleshooting. This training is intended to improve the operators knowledge on functionality & operating skill of TM. On-site Training 7 Imported Tech IMP-1 Service Training on Grove Manitowoc The curriculum is intended to provide the Engineers / with knowledge on Features of GMK, Specifications & Load chart, Working principle & Operation of TWINLOCK telescopic system & MEGATRAK suspension system, Basic Understanding of Electronic Crane Operating System (ECOS) & Safety System (EKS - 5), Working principle and function of ABS, Periodic Maintenance, Understanding of electrical circuit & wiring diagram.
