1 Project Coordinator - UNHCR Location: [Europe & the Middle East] [Lebanon] Category: Field Operations Job Type: Fixed term, Full-time PURPOSE OF POSITION To ensure proper management and timely implementation of the UNHCR funded cash and inkind assistance project as per the required standards: Collaborating and Liaising with key stakeholders to ensure adequate and timely project briefs and reporting is done: Staff management and coaching MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee the project implementation for the Cash Assistance and Core Relief and Household items. Ensure the core Project Documents (Agreement, ITT, Budget, DIP) are developed and updated to reflect the project progression, and updating both donor and supervisor in case of any delays. Manage and continuously monitor the project budget and ensure timely procurement and expenditure is maintained to avoid under or over spending. Ensure that the required and budgeted project personnel are recruited in timely manner, and trained for the job. Represent WVL at relevant inter-agency coordination and donor meeting

2 Responsible to ensure that all CRI/NFI are accounted for from receipt to distribution, maintaining an acceptable audit trail acceptable to WVI standards. Coordinate the delivery of the items with Transporter and/ or Support Service team. Develop distribution plans in coordination with Security, Local Authorities and beneficiaries Distribute the CRI/NFI within the required time frame and as per WVI standards. Conduct monthly analysis of the required quantities of NFI cards/vouchers from donors or CSP and advise of any necessity to adjust. Maintain proper accounts of the resources received from donors, distributed and returned, in accordance with accounting and WVI procedures Ensure compliance with World Visions policies Responsible for secure management of the e-cards/atm Cards including receiving, safe keeping and distribution Assign team members for the each section and ensure that proper accounts are maintained. Ensure that beneficiaries are pre-screened, visited, scored, not assisted prior to the distribution. Ensure that Targeted and Assisted beneficiaries information are uploaded on the agencies information sharing plat forum (RAIS) to avoid duplications. Provide a comprehensive session on utilization of the ATM cards, entitlements, Helps lines after each distribution. Page 2/5

3 Contribute to the distribution plan developed/suggested by donor agency. Maintain proper accounts of the resources received from donors, distributed and returned, in accordance with accounting procedures. Responsible for planning and implementing the allocated number of Household assessment for the project. Allocate team; resources and training to meet daily target visits are met. Ensure quality data collections, through regular visits and review of the data. Finalize the questioners on daily basis, making sure that errors, mistakes are addressed. Coordinate the visits internally and externally to avoid duplicate visits. Maintain a proper documentations for the data collected online and offline as per donor requirement Provide capacity building to the Local Partner (LP) on the distribution process and documentation. Build the capacity of the LPs for the budget development, and implementation and reporting. Monitor the allocated activities to the LPs as required. Review the regular reports, and provide feedback to the management regarding the achievement and area of developments. Page 3/5

4 Participate in the coordination meeting such as Basic Needs Assistance group and Cash working group at the field level. Attend ad hoc meeting requested by donor, local authorities, and communities elder to ensure that smooth operation is happened. Attend the regular meeting required within WV. Provide daily distribution, assessment reports to both donor and operation team. Provide Weekly Plan and monthly plan for both donor and management team. Develop and monthly narrative report for on the month achievement vs the initial plans. Review Job Descriptions for the staff member as the roles change. Ensure continuous staff performance management and regular performance reviews of the staff are done. Update the organization chart and ensure that necessary staffs are recruited. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES At least 3 years experience in general project management in an INGO with one year experience leading a project of similar nature in an response context Minimum of a Bachelors degree

5 Powered by TCPDF ( Completion of cash based program training Good knowledge of cash based programs implementation Creative and able to come up, embrace and coordinate innovative thinking, and problem solving skills; Good analytical and writing skills; Good interpersonal skills and ability to create and work as a team. Effective in written and oral communication in English. Able to work under pressure and the of the changing organization procedures. Computer literacy; Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint Three year of experience in general projects management Minimum one year of experience in cash based programming and projects implementation preferably in a refugee assistance environment. Experience in participating in distribution of cash/vouchers assistance, voucher/card management, cash transfer reporting, dealing with services providers, representation of organization at donor forums, cash programs implementation, shops & retailers management.
