We are set up for the very purpose to help you change the way you operate and do things, in such a way that your business or organisation will benefit for years to come. Our course offerings have been developed over years of dealing with clients who had very specific needs and concerns and we came to their rescue. Turning Points in CIPS training The course provides an educational route for candidates working in purchasing and supply, who wish to gain a professional qualification using up-to-date study materials from the Institute. Bespoke tuition will be delivered on site. This will take account of the need for employees, to minimise travelling to study centres, whilst receiving excellent tuition geared specifically towards each subject as they progress through their qualification. What we offer and how We offer the levels of CIPS as described opposite, and cover all the topics necessary for the candidate to feel they have tackled the course in a structured manner. The course is designed to cover the relevant topics prior to the main professional exams which take place in May and November of each year. The candidate will have the necessary material, and will work through topics in their own time as well as tutorials and workshops being provided. We try and deliver at client premises, but we have the flexibility to offer other methods and the use of other facilities. 18 Page 18 Skills Assessments Psychometric Assessments We are now associated with a licensed practitioner of a leading provider of psychometric people assessments and skills testing, and we can now offer a wide range of these tools. The assessments can be used to add extra value, and improve performance at different stages in your business such as: 1 Recruitment In addition to the skills, experience and qualifications required, does the candidate have the behaviour characteristics required to be successful in this job, and fit into the team and company culture? 2. Management Knowing what motivates each member of staff, what their preferred communication style is, and how they prefer to be managed can make it much easier to get improved performance from your staff. 3. Re-organisation These assessments can help you benchmark the posts in the organisation and determine what good looks like (high performance). You can then look at the profiles of staff against these. This will highlight areas where staff are perhaps in the wrong jobs or need further development. Knowing how staff work, what motivates them, what their preferred communication style and style of being managed is, can help you work out the best make up of teams for maximum productivity and minimum disputes.
