PREFER HOSPITALITY STUDENTS. Housekeeping: Cleaning rooms to include bathrooms, making beds and changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning mirrors in rooms and around the resort. Porter: General housekeeping to include mopping floors in general areas and ballrooms, assisting guests with luggage, emptying trash cans and cigarette urns, clearing dishes from common areas, maintaining coffee and juice station. 6 Housekeeping duties: Requirements for Employment at the Belhurst Castle 1. `Cleaning inside and outside toilets, showers and refrigerators. 2. Vacuuming the hotel rooms and hotel hallways. 3. Taking out garbage to our dumpsters. 4. Stocking housekeeping closets with supplies like towels, sheets ext. 5. Making beds. (putting new pillow cases and sheets on the bed) 6. Cleaning mirrors and windows. 7. Dusting lamps and other objects located in a hotel room or in the hallways of the hotel. 8. Being able to clean a room quickly and thoroughly.( After training is complete a housekeeper is expected to be able to clean a room with one other housekeeper in 30 minutes at the very most) 9. Checking underneath bed for debris and vacuuming underneath the bed if necessary. 10. Replacing light bulbs and lighting fireplaces. Porter duties: 1. Cleaning inside and outside toilets in restrooms in the ballrooms, lobby, and restaurants. 2. Mopping the floors in the restaurant, lobby, and ballrooms. 3. Stocking and maintaining the coffee and juice station located by the front desk of the hotel. 4. Picking up debris and other trash outside of the building of Belhurst. (Along the grounds) 5. High dusting light fixtures and other hard to reach places. 6. Cleaning inside and outside all windows on the first floor of the Belhurst Castle. 7. Helping guests with their luggage and whatever else needs to be carried. 8. Checking the common areas and hallways to the hotel rooms for empty glasses and trash. 9. Emptying all cigarette earns and trash cans inside and outside of the Resort. 10. Holding the door for guests and welcoming them if they happen to cross your path. Laundry duties: 1. Properly operating the washer and dryer at Belhurst and our offsite location White Springs. 2. Frequently checking and cleaning the lint trap for the dryers. 3. Between washer and dryer cycles going up to hotel rooms and taking down dirty linens.

7 4. Stocking all housekeeping closets with clean linen. 5. Stocking all wait station areas in the restaurants with clean table cloths and napkins. Cleaning out the house keeping closet in the Basement and also keeping it organized. 6. Cleaning the washers and dryers and keeping your surrounding work areas neat and organized. 7. Properly folding all the linen from all departments and placing them in the correct place. 8. Helping the house keepers with their duties if time allows. 9. Being available to the front desk for any special projects if time allows. *(Attention Special Note)* The listed duties above are but a small fraction of your responsibilities. This is simply a general guide to explain each individual job at the hotel that you may hold. Each position listed above will have many requirements that can only be explained and understood through personal training and instruction by managers and colleagues. Signature Date Terms and Conditions for all International Student Employees at Belhurst Castle 1. The Belhurst is t responsible for finding and negotiating housing for students. 2. The Belhurst is only required to give each student up to hours per week. 3. The maximum amount of hours any one student can work for Belhurst is 80 hours per week. 4. The Belhurst is t responsible for helping students get their social security cards 5. The Belhurst cant legally pay employees without a photo copy of a photo identification card (usually a passport) and Social security card. 6. Belhurst is t responsible for providing transportation to and from work. 7. International students that work for Belhurst are allowed to get a second job within a 30 mile radius of the town of Geneva.

8 8. If an international student gets a second job the schedule of the second job must be scheduled around the students schedule at Belhurst. Your work at Belhurst is your first priority. 9. Belhurst is t allowed to cash your paycheck for you. It is the responsibility of the student to open a bank account so you can deposit and cash your checks. 10. Participants in the CHI work and travel program agree to work at the Belhurst Castle up and until their end date in the program. Students must contact there CHI representative and Quinn Hurley (Manager at Belhurst Castle) if there is any concern with their employment at the Belhurst Castle. 11. Belhurst is t responsible for providing furniture and other appliances for housing and neither is your landlord. 12. If international students have packages sent here it must be delivered by UPS or ather privatized mailing system. 13. There is to be discrimination toward any fellow employee based on race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation or religious affiliation. 14. International students must comply with the above terms and conditions in order to work at the Belhurst. *(Attention Special Note)* This is a legally binding agreement. You must sign this agreement before you begin working at the Belhurst. It is extremely important that you fully understand these terms and conditions before signing. Please ask your CHI representative to explain these terms and conditions if you have any questions about this contract. If any of these terms and conditions are broken during your employment at Belhurst it is grounds for immediate termination and your CHI representative will be contacted immediately which may result in expulsion from the program.
