2 Down Under Training Operating Paradigm Down Under Training is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) dedicated to delivering Nationally accredited training programs throughout Queensland. Our resources industry training is in line with the Resources and Infrastructure Training Package. Training and assessment materials are moderated and validated regularly to ensure that they meet with Australian Skills Quality Association (ASQA) standards and requirements. All training is outcome-based and appropriate to the coal industry with a focus on achieving measurable changes in the workplace. Our training and assessment materials are contextualized to meet Legislative and site requirements. Down Under Training s structure and practices are designed to ensure Training Product relevance, standards and consistency; and delivery excellence. This is achieved through industry liaison, providing a credible point of reference for industry stakeholders to discuss current and future training needs. Our team consists of industry experienced personnel who are well versed in responding to mining and industrial safety and training needs. Our staff are active members of various resource industry related Associations and committees, this ensures the latest market trends and Legislative requirements in our training solutions. We are flexible in our training approach and understand the differing styles abilities and needs of trainees. We enable trainees to prove their abilities in a supportive learning environment providing mentoring services to both learners and their supervisors.
