6 11 Green Gateway Example 1.1c(1) Senior Leaders create a successful organization through personal involvement in planning, performance reviews, and a focus on organizational learning and innovation. Systematic leader reviews of mission related metrics of quality, cost, and delivery is built into their guiding principles (SQDCPME scorecard.) Agility is achieved through cross-training and an empowered workforce to solve problems. Cycles of improvement resulted in Leaders developing skills to teach others to challenge the current state and personally reinforcing new ideas and risk taking. Senior Leaders coach and mentor associates to ensure agility and succession readiness. In addition, Senior Leaders cross train on all senior leader and direct-report positions. These systematic leader actions build on their core competencies of innovation, guiding principles, and talent development to create a sustainable agile organization. 12 OFIs? ADLI L: How do they systematically use feedback from crosstraining in other depts., etc? Best practices? 6

7 13 1.1c(1) OFI Comment It is unclear if all members of the SLT consistently execute systematic processes of mentoring, cross-training, GEMBA walks, Learning Community Meetings, and review of SQDCPME scorecards to ensure their organizations are built on foundation of innovation and learning and that learnings are shared. In addition, there was no discussion on how all approaches to ensure success are systematically reviewed to identify and implement best practices. Without full deployment by all Senior Leaders and review and sharing of best practices with the Parent organization, the applicant may not achieve or sustain success as the industry is challenged by low-cost off-shore competitors. 14 MQA-KQA Comment Guidelines..
