3 TTU INTRODUCTION by Mr. Nejib Zaafrani, Co-founder and President of TTU It is with tremendous pride that I announce the establishment of the Tunisian Talents United (TTU) Association. The founding members of TTU, created the association with the aim to identify, attract, develop and coach Tunisia s greatest young talents and potential future leaders. We will bring together local and international Tunisian professionals from across the globe to share their experience, know-how and guidance across a series of forums, workshops and engagement platforms, which will inspire and steer the next generation of future leaders. United by our unwavering core values of integrity, excellence and civility, our vision is to inspire and affect change that will contribute to a brighter future of our great country, Tunisia, through the development and empowerment of our human capital. We will focus on what we can impact most: learning, skills, employability and networking. Our goal is to shape Tunisia s talent base so it becomes globally competitive, highly demanded, and capable of positively impacting Tunisia s economy. As an independent apolitical organization, TTU is devoted to contribute to a better future for Tunisia and its citizens by valorizing its strong talent base. TTU s objectives is to actively contribute to meeting Tunisia growing need for talented leaders across sectors that will help ensure sustainable economic growth in a highly competitive 21st century globalized economy. With the founding members, we have made an effort to have sufficient diversity of gender, skills, experience, age, as well as a geographic representation from across Tunisia. Together, we bring more than five hundred years of rich and diverse local and international experiences. Our intention is to grow effectively this nucleus through a structured platform, with a solid and sustainable foundation, into hundreds of talented and successful visionary leaders that will transform Tunisia s major challenges into great opportunities. We look forward to welcoming ambitious professionals, both junior and senior, who share the same values and commitment, to actively contribute to TTU s long journey in turning our vision into reality. 5 We warmly welcome you to the First TTU Forum. This Forum is under the theme «Tunisian Talents & Leaders United to drive change for a brighter Future for Tunisia» The prime objective of the Forum is to Launch formally the TTU Association. We will take the opportunity to raise awareness on the potential of Tunisian Talents and Leaders to make a real diference for Tunisia. Professional journeys of Talents and Leaders will be shared, including best practices for Human Capital Management. They are considered to be of critical importance for Tunisia. High profile Participants of Talents and Leaders from Tunisia and overseas representing different sectors will be present at the First TTU Forum, including young talents with high potential and promising future. to discuss how to play a pivotal role in turning social, environmental and economic challenges of Tunisia into great opportunities to drive growth and sustainable development by creating better leaders. The Forum will prioritize the strategic themes in order of importance and urgency for Tunisia. These prioritized themes will form the basis for TTU workshops to be planned for Detailed TTU Forum program provided below and can be accessed online on TTU website The one-day forum will result in resolutions / recommendations, including a four-year outline plan of TTU. These will be formulated and communicated thereafter.
