City of Yuma TMP further refined existing conditions population data, employment data, TAZ structure and roadway network Review updates and amend model as necessary to reflect any known changes in land use and roadway network characteristics

13 Study Tasks Task 5: Develop Roadway System Alternatives Develop roadway system alternatives that will be subsequently applied to the performance-based evaluation criteria in Task 6. Potential project alternatives based on Task 3 (current conditions) and analysis, and stakeholder and public input (Task 4). Traffic assignments conducted for 2041 socioeconomic forecasts and the Existing plus Committed (E+C) projects network. Deficiencies identified, and the 2041 E+C transportation network. for the existing conditions Previous 2037 RTP recommendations reevaluated under the new traffic forecasts Develop a short-list (up to 20 roadway projects) of roadway system improvements considering RTP cost constraint resources.

14 Study Tasks Task 6: Performance-Based Evaluation of Alternatives Performance measures communicate information about the use, condition, and impact of the transportation system Measures are indicators publicly reported to demonstrate progress toward established targets Performance-based project selection criteria assist in prioritizing and selecting projects for funding, leading to a transparent, public process This process also relies on the professional judgment of transportation stakeholders and input from the general public
