The traditional performance management systems have failed to bring about tangible and sustainable value. They mostly focus on reviewing past achievements and having intermittent and restricted feedback conversations between managers and employees. These conversations in most cases are not conducted within the context of strategic analysis of the business situation, and the identification of timely corrective measures that may directly impact the organization s and employees ability to achieve desired business results. 4 FACILITATOR S BIODATA Claudia Cadena Associate Faculty Renowned International Speaker and Expert Claudia Cadena is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Thread Advisory, a company incorporated in Malaysia focusing on Strategic Human Capital Management consulting. She has over 25 years of strategic, operational and consulting experience in human capital management. In addition to her corporate HR roles, she has been a member of Organizational Executive Committees, care-taker CEO for a Training Academy and a Board member. Her areas of expertise are organizational transformation and culture, talent and performance management, change / transition management, employee engagement and communication. These technical skills are supported with her strong programme / project and stakeholder management capabilities. She is a Lawyer (Universidad de los Andes - Colombia) and has a Master in Industrial Relations and Human Capital Management from London School of Economics. She is a member of Malaysian Institute of Human Resources Management and the Malaysian Association of Certified Coaches.
