Reports to: Location: Status: Direct Reports: National Community Fundraising and Events Manager Brisbane Full time None Date Effective: September 2015 Primary purpose The Partnership Coordinator is responsible for securing and managing a number of corporate partners particularly in Queensland ensuring commitments on both sides are delivered as agreed. The role works closely with Redkite s existing valued Partners to forge strong, mutually beneficial relationships, and to implement the partnership activities decided on at a strategic level as well as develop new opportunities within existing partnerships, including developing any employee fundraising opportunities. The role is also responsible for nominated event and community fundraising activities, staff fundraising event support, co-ordination and implementation of Redkite s annual signature fundraising event and campaigns, account and relationship management and achieving fundraising targets in Queensland. 3 Position Key Result Areas Revenue Generation Planning and Reporting Stakeholder Management Program Management Achieve annual income and expenditure targets and ROI s Efficiently manage expenditure budget Work with Direct Manager to develop and implement plans to significantly grow and build the profile of Redkite s corporate partnerships in Queensland Produce an annual activity plan and manage local budget, monthly reports and forecast Develop and implement a robust annual Partnerships Plan in collaboration with Direct Manager, including goals, timetables and strategies for identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of current and prospective corporate partners Provide input into annual strategic planning and budget process and related activities Develop strategies and marketing plans to increase the income from corporate partnerships based in Queensland Provide regular reports to Management on results of the corporate partnerships programs including Board reports Relationship management of Queensland based corporate partnerships, working closely with Redkite s existing valued partners to forge strong, mutually beneficial relationships Maintain and develop internal and external stakeholder and supporter relationships Nurture existing supplier and stakeholder relationships and develop new relationships where the opportunity presents Work with key corporate supporters to develop an staff fundraising initiatives and events Manage existing internal and external fundraising committees to ensure ongoing engagement, motivation and productivity Develop and capitalising on fundraising opportunities at events In conjunction with the National Volunteer Coordinator, source and recruit volunteers as required for Queensland based events and manage volunteer briefings Ensure volunteers are appropriately engaged and thanked Research, identify, develop and implement fundraising activities including: - Pitch and secure Redkite as the nominated charity for local events and community activities - Review new event/fundraising opportunities under approved guidelines - Delivery of approved opportunities to meet objectives and budget - Ongoing communications with stakeholders to ensure external event is successful and identify opportunities to develop and/or grow existing and new opportunities Page 3 of 6

4 Identify, secure and foster new partnership opportunities in collaboration with Line Manager and Partnerships Team Lead on the research and cultivation of new corporate partnerships, developing pitches and proposals, partnership agreements and leading new business meetings Work with the Events Team to plan and execute Redkite s annual signature event in Queensland ensuring the delivery of approved activities to meet objectives and budget Document proposals and contracts, and monitor all partnerships to ensure positive and purposeful activities and stewardship including evaluation and impact assessment of all partnerships Work with the Marketing and Communications team to profile partnerships where appropriate Program Administration Undertake administrative duties required for the position including maintaining comprehensive database records on Redkite s CRM system, expenditure records and up-to-date filing Ensure consistent promotion of the Redkite brand and messaging in line with brand guidelines Represent Redkite at various events and activities as a Redkite speaker, brand ambassador and Redkite event manager (as required) Undertake other duties as required and directed by Direct Manager &/or Head of Fundraising This position will also be required to represent Redkite at various events and meetings, with the understanding that some of these will occur outside normal work hours Page 4 of 6

6 Key Competencies and experience Qualifications and training Tertiary qualifications in fundraising, marketing, communications or a related field Experience and knowledge Essential Experience in the not-for-profit / fundraising sector Proven event/project management experience Proven experience in account/ relationship management Pipeline and budget management with proven results in meeting and exceeding revenue targets Effective account management of existing corporate relationships ensuring high levels of retention and increased levels of engagement Proven track record in research and new business development of corporate partners Superior writing, editing and proofreading skills for proposals and stewardship reports Demonstrated success working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to produce high quality communications Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with shifting and short deadlines Strong competency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PPT) and CRM Database (Salesforce desirable) Skills / Competencies Essential Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills Excellent organisational and time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly disposition. Positive and flexible approach to working as part of a busy team Proactive, highly motivated and results driven Excellent account and relationship management skills Proven administration and IT system experience and excellent computer skills Implementation of key fundraising activities Current Drivers Licence and competent driving experience is essential Desirable Experience using CRM database to support fundraising activity and analysis Partnership management within either the not-for-profit or corporate sector Understanding of corporate social responsibility principles Understanding of the community and team benefits of corporate charitable giving Page 6 of 6
