3 OVERVIEW As part of SHO Launchpad, stores have the ability to manage their employees using User Manager. New associates are added automatically based on the daily Ultipro feed. Once they are added, they gain access to required systems including: Inspired to Learn (ITL) Since SHO Launchpad is connected to ITL, salaried Store Managers or any employee that has been assigned admin access, now has the ability to change an employee s ITL role, reset passwords and inactivate employees themselves all in SHO Launchpad. NetSuite o Point of Sale (POS) If an employee is not active in SHO Launchpad, they will not have a POS ringing ID and will not be able to ring sales in the new POS system. o Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) ERP access is required to process certain types of transactions including: receiving product, viewing reports and searching customer/transaction information. SHO Connect Employees can sign in with their own personal account and access SHO Connect. For any SHO Launchpad related questions or issues, please ServiceDesk@shos.com or call , Option 1. ACCESSING USER MANAGER (SALARIED MANAGERS ONLY) After signing into SHO Launchpad using your Enterprise ID or personal company address, access User Manager by completing the following steps: 1. Under Administration, click User Manager. 1

4 ACCESSING USER MANAGER (CONTINUED). The User Manager will display. In the Search Criteria box, enter *, and click Search. *. A list of your store s employees, both enabled/active and disabled/inactive, will display. NOTE: In the Enabled column, a green checkmark indicates enabled/active employees, and a red X indicates disabled/inactive employees. Review the list of employees to determine if changes and/or updates need to be made including: Marking Employee Inactive, Editing Existing Employee and/or Resetting Employee's Password. NOTE: Company stores do not have the ability to add and enable employees because Ultipro will update employees daily. If an active employee is not listed, please reach out to the Service Desk via ServiceDesk@shos.com or call , Option 1.. After all changes and updates have been made to your list of employees, it is important to identify the login information for each employee and share it with them. Username/Enterprise ID: The employee s username, which is their Enterprise ID, can be found in the farright Enterprise ID column Password: The default password for all new employees is SHOpass1! ; however, if they have previously signed into SHO Launchpad, they should have already setup a password and know what it is.

5 ACCESSING INSPIRED TO LEARN Since Inspired to Learn (ITL) is accessed via SHO Launchpad, you no longer need to have separate login credentials for ITL. This means that the login credentials previously used to access ITL are no longer valid. Before an employee can log into ITL via SHO Launchpad, the salaried store manager must sign into SHO Launchpad using their personal company address to access the User Manager. Once in User Manager, all the employees usernames/enterprise IDs SHO Launchpad, which will then give the employees access to ITL, can be located. To complete this, follow the specific step-by-step instructions outlined under Accessing User Manager on page and. Once the salaried store manager has located the employees usernames/enterprise IDs, it is important to share it with the respective employees. This will be the username that they will enter into SHO Launchpad. The default password for all new employees is SHOpass1! ; however, if the employee has previously signed into SHO Launchpad, they should have already setup a password and know what it is. If the employee does not know the password they changed, follow the specific step-by-step instructions under Resetting Employee s Password on page 11. Once an employee has their login credentials, complete the following steps to access ITL via SHO Launchpad: 1. Open an internet browser (ie. Google Chrome, IE), and type into the search bar.. The SHO Launchpad sign in page will appear. Click Sign In.. Enter your personal User ID (username/enterprise ID) that was located using the User Manager. Enter your Password. If you have not previously signed into SHO Launchpad before, enter SHOpass1!.. Click Sign In. 5. Once signed in, click the Inspired to Learn tile under Learning & Support Your Inspired to Learn account will open. NOTE: If you receive an error message after clicking the ITL tile, please submit a SHOS Support Ticket under Training > Inspired to Learn Course Completions/Resets. 5

6 MARKING EMPLOYEE INACTIVE Once Human Resources (HR) approves the termination of an employee, Ultipro will automatically mark the employee as disabled/inactive in SHO Launchpad and Inspired to Learn within hours. However, if you want to disabled/inactivate the employee s access immediately after the termination has been approved, you must mark the employee disabled/inactive using the User Manager by following the steps below. IMPORTANT: You can NOT mark an employee disabled/inactive if their termination has not yet been approved by HR. If an employee is on a Leave of Absence and will return, but you do not want that employee negatively impacting training reports, please submit a SHOS Support Ticket under Training > Inspired to Learn Course Completions/Resets to have the employee made temporarily inactive in Inspired to Learn. In the User Manager under the Enabled column, a green checkmark indicates enabled/active employees, and a red X indicates disabled/inactive employees. To mark an employee inactive after termination has been approved by HR, complete the following steps in the User Manager: 1. Under the Action column next to the employee s name, click the Pencil Icon. 1. The User Info will display. Next to Enabled, click YES. 6

8 EDITING EXISTING EMPLOYEE Stores have the ability to reset passwords and/or update Inspired to Learn Roles. This means that stores no longer need to submit a SHOS Support Ticket for these actions. To edit an existing employee, complete the following steps in the User Manger: 1. Click the Pencil Icon next to the employee s name under the Action column. 1. The User Info will display. Here you can reset the employee s Password.. To edit the employee s Inspired to Learn Role, click the Roles tab. NOTE: The Inspired to Learn Role is automatically assigned based on the employee s job. This function would be used to change their role if taking training for an area they are covering in or if they need a different sales related curriculum than the default Inspired to Learn role for the employee s job. 8

9 EDITING EXISTING EMPLOYEE (CONTINUED). In the Inspired to Learn Role field, click the appropriate role from the drop-down menu. 5. Click Save User Wait for the green confirmation message to appear to ensure the changes are saved. 7. Click Return to User Manager

10 UNLOCKING EMPLOYEE S ACCOUNT When attempting to sign into SHO Launchpad, if an employee enters the incorrect password multiple times, their account will lock. If an employee receives an Account Locked message, please wait 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, their account will unlock, and they should complete the following steps: 1. Click the I Forgot My Password link on the SHO Launchpad sign on page.. Enter their Enterprise ID.. Click Get Profile.. Answer the security questions to reset the password. IMPORTANT: If the employee has not set up their security questions, salaried managers can sign into SHO Launchpad using their personal Enterprise ID to access User Manager to unlock the employee s account and reset the employee s password. To unlock an employee s account, complete the following steps in User Manager: 1. Click the Pencil Icon next to the employee s name under the Action column. 1. The User Info will display. Click the box next to Unlock Account at the bottom. A checkmark will appear in the box.. Click Save User. 10

Click Return to User Manager. 5 RESETTING EMPLOYEE S PASSWORD Since SHO Launchpad is connected to Inspired to Learn, stores no longer need to submit a SHOS Support Ticket to request an Inspired to Learn password reset. When an employee signs into SHO Launchpad for the first time, they should set up their security questions to enable them to reset their own SHO Launchpad password (Refer to the SHO Launchpad User Guide for instructions). In addition, salaried managers have the ability to reset an employee s SHO Launchpad password themselves by completing the following steps in User Manger: 1. Click the Pencil Icon next to the employee s name under the Action column. 1 11

12 RESETTING EMPLOYEE S PASSWORD (CONTINUED). In the Set Password field, enter the new password.. Click Save User.. Wait for the green confirmation message to appear to ensure the changes are saved. 5. Click Return to User Manager. 5 1

13 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs) Q: When I click the User Manger tile in SHO Launchpad, why do I not see any employees listed? A: If you do not see any employees listed in User Manager, please ensure you are entering an asterisk * in the Search Criteria box and click Search. For further assistance, contact the Service Desk via at ServiceDesk@shos.com or call , Option 1. Q: What is my username and password for SHO Launchpad? A: If you do not know an employee s Enterprise ID (username), salaried managers can look it up by signing into SHO Launchpad using their personal Enterprise ID. Once signed in, click the User Manager tile. In the Search Criteria box, enter a *, and click Search. Employee s Enterprise IDs are located in the last column on the right. The default 1 st time password is SHOpass1!. Refer to Accessing User Manager on page for more information. For further assistance, contact the Service Desk via at ServiceDesk@shos.com or call , Option 1. Q: Can you unlock my account? Can you reset my password for SHO Launchpad? A: If you are receiving an Account Locked message when trying to sign into SHO Launchpad, please wait 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, your account will unlock and allow you to access SHO Launchpad again. Click the I Forgot My Password link on the SHO Launchpad sign on page. Enter your Enterprise ID, and click Get Profile. Then, answer the security questions to reset the password. If the employee has not set up their security questions, salaried managers can sign into SHO Launchpad using their personal Enterprise ID. Once signed in, click the User Manger tile and follow the step-by-step instructions under Resetting Employee s Password on page 11. A: Employees are no longer added directly to Inspired to Learn. The Ultipro data feed automatically adds new company employees to SHO Launchpad, which then automatically adds the employees to Inspired to Learn within hours. Refer to Accessing User Manager on page to learn how to utilize the User Manager, including how to add and locate employees login credentials for SHO Launchpad. A: Employees are no longer inactivated directly in Inspired to Learn. A: If you receive an error message after clicking the Inspired to Learn tile in SHO Launchpad, please submit a SHOS Support Ticket under Training > Inspired to Learn Course Completions/Resets and include your name and Enterprise ID. Q: When I access Inspired to Learn, courses previously completed are showing as not started? A: If previous completed training is not showing as complete, the user has two Inspired to Learn profiles. Please submit a SHOS Support Ticket under Training > Inspired to Learn Course Completions/Resets and include your name and Enterprise ID.
