3 Executive Summary Superdoll Trailer Manufacture Co. Ltd is one of the country s longest existing companies, serving the East and Central African market for heavy duty, light truck as well as 4x4 and passenger automobile products, accessories and technical services since 1990 and based in Dar es Salaam as its main offices. It serves the market for all types of trailer products manufactured under the license of Emil Doll Gmbh Germany, as well as providing high quality integrated technical support and services for transport related products such as Tyres, Accessories and Spares within Tanzania and to the neighboring countries. The Company has been working extremely hard under very tough and challenging environment to facilitate transporters with ultra-modern and state of the art heavy duty trailers, tyres, spares and support services specifically designed to meet Tanzania s road conditions and other geographical factors. Superdoll Trailer Manufacture Co. Ltd has always been one major Stop Centre for Heavy Duty Automobile Products franchised from The World s leading Manufacturers and Suppliers of OE parts. All products have proven very successful in delivering the desired outcome especially effective cost minimization and value for money to all users. The Company s vision and strategies to bring valuable services and support to its customers, has enabled the company to expand market base very rapidly and consistently. Today, Superdoll operates fully fledged branches located in Tanzania s 2 major cities i.e. Arusha and Mwanza and annexed Branch based in Ubungo Bus Terminal purposely to serve Tanzania s main bus operators. Furthermore Superdoll have more than fifty dealer network spread throughout the country reaching out for customers. Superdoll s vision is to be the best service providers for automobile products in East and Central Africa by teaming up together with customers and provide them with best solutions in order to ensure value for their money. 1

4 The Management The management team is made up of highly qualified staff, well versed in their respective areas of specialization, equipped with broad and long term experience in all aspects of automobile industry. Composition and line up of the Management team has been carefully done in view to meet our core values and vision to provide high quality service and solutions for our customers and more importantly offer them real value for their money. The Company has provided every member of the Management team with all key resources to enable them meet the objective of the Company. High quality performance of each team member in the Management team underlies the basic culture of our Company. Customer service and satisfaction is our first and foremost aspect whenever we appraise the performance of each and every person in our Organization. 5 Products Superdoll offers very high quality and world class automobile products acquired from World s Leading Manufacturers of Original Equipments and which are designed for maximum performance in terms of durability, reliability, safety and comfort for all end users. All these products have been well researched and thoroughly tested over years and proven beyond any reasonable doubt to perform in Tanzania s road conditions and all other geographical factors. We have three categories of products: Trailers Tyres and their accessories as well service equipments Spares and Vehicle replacement accessories Fork Lifts 3

6 Trailers For over two decades we have served our country with very high quality trailers capable of working under very tough conditions licensed from Emil Doll Gmbh Germany. Most of our customers in East and Central Africa have shared with us this wonderful experience with Doll trailers and are delighted to have return on their investment thoroughly achieved. Doll trailers are constructed and manufactured under very high level of sophistication to ensure the strength, efficiency, safety and comfort of the end user. We provide all range of trailer types from general cargo; fuel tankers to tailor made trailers which are designed to meet user specified needs. Here below are some of the few types of our trailer products we offer. 4

7 Tyres We are the sole distributors of Michelin Tyres and BF Goodrich from France. Michelin is number one Manufacturer of high quality tyres in the world and is a well renowned company in tyre technology and revolution which they have pioneered especially in the invention of Radial tyres technology. Michelin and BF Goodrich tyres have proven beyond expectation in their performance in Tanzania tough road conditions. Repeated tests over years have proved to produce very high mileage, safety and high comfort level to all users ranging from heavy duty trucks, mining and queries to small size and special application vehicles. Superdoll is very much proud to be the first Company in East and Central Africa to introduce tubeless tyres as well as air suspension technology in Tanzania all of which have contributed to enormous amount of benefit and cost saving to all transporters in the Country and have proven entirely very successful in all road conditions of Tanzania. 5

8 Heli Forklifts Superdoll is now proudly associated with Heli as sole Distributor of highly innovative and superior quality Forklifts for different types uses ranging from small scale lifting capacity to heavy duty lifting operations like handling Cargo Containers at a busy Port. Heli forklifts are manufactured based on over 40 years experience on military industrial technology with advanced production line and exact quality testing system and designs. All forklifts are produced through adopting streamline appearance, confortable and convenient operating style and engines of world s famous brand such as Isuzu from Japan, Volvo from Sweden etc. which guarantee the quality, safety, beauty and cleanliness of the machines. 6

9 Spares And Vehicle Replacement Accessories Apart from Trailers and Tyres, Superdoll is privileged to be the sole distributors of world class products for vehicle spares and replacement accessories of high quality and technological innovation designed to meet the transport operational needs in terms of safety, durability and reliability. All the above products have been thoroughly tested across fleet of vehicles for number of Companies in Tanzania and the results have always been outstanding especially towards minimizing long term costs, eliminating downtime in operation and increasing overall efficiency and turnaround of the vehicles. Being sole representative of the above international brands, we are privileged to continuously receive technological updates and support for all the products and pass them on to our customer through our service programs and training sessions. 7

Accordingly, we have developed the Technical Service and Support Department which is headed by one of the very experienced person in Fleet Management and Vehicle Maintenance. In line with our vision to provide high quality products, we have also assembled team of well trained staff, highly experienced and focused professionals with high technical skills and capabilities to handle and demonstrate how valuable these products are to our customers. Technical Service Team is structured to provide optimal service for all products acquired by our customers through constant and consistent monitoring their performance and tests in order to ensure value for their money. Regular checks and spot checks are professionally conducted in order to help correct usage of the products and identify difficulties faced by our customers in their operations so as to provide immediate solution. Over time, we have developed series of technical service programs in collaboration with our International Partners and thoroughly trained all members of the technical service team to implement these programs and follow up practical performance of our products for our customer s operations with view to ensure proper application and maintenance of the fleet is achieved and that our customers achieve the basic objective of minimizing their long term costs. In recognition of the importance of technical service aspect for our customers, Superdoll has employed over 50 staff as Service Coordinators working under the Technical Service Department only. Having provided them with thorough technical training and broad experience, we have deployed all these personnel in our customer s yards and garages permanently in order to enable them monitor closely the performance and proper application of our products and services. In return, they work hard day and night to gather performance information in accordance to our software system which is designed to provide high quality and comprehensive analytical report which is shared with our customers on regular basis. These reports enables customers to make appropriate decision on timely basis hence making substantial savings in their operating costs as well as enhancing best practices in the fleet management aspect of their operation. Through implementation of these programs, we have been able to help out number of our customers to cut down operating costs substantially and increase their fleet turnaround. 8

In the face or increasing globalization and rapidly developing world in terms of technological advancement as well innovation, we are doing our best to move together in partnership with our franchises to bring to Tanzania new Ideas, technological aspects of Automobile Industry in constant and consistent manner with view to support our customers achieve the desired results of their operation. This has been possible through the training support which our Principle Franchises have always extended to our staff on yearly basis. Every year part of our Technical Service Team is programmed to attend technical training courses and professional updates in Europe were all of our franchises are based. Moreover, Technical Expert staff from our franchises makes regular visit each year to assess the quality of our operations as well provide field training to our staff which has brought tremendous amount of success to our customers. We have further enforced our training strategy through development of our own in-house training department by equipping it with necessary and high quality resources and expert trainers who are dedicated to provide training to our staff as well as staff of our customers on regular basis. Through such robust training programs we have managed to provide rare knowledge and expertise to number of our customers as well as other stakeholders with view to bring awareness of key issues in Automobile Industry which has helped many of them overcome operational difficulties with ease and safety at the same time achieving their goals. 9

We have always teamed up with our customers working day and night to overcome difficult technical aspects and achieve the desired results. Our performance is based on achievement of results in real terms within prescribe time limit and we do not compromise for any result below standard. Furthermore, a separate department has been set and is entrusted with the responsibility to conduct regular customer satisfaction survey for our products and services on an independent basis and directly report to the Board of Directors to ensure that any shortfalls are attended immediately and effectively. All staffs across all managerial levels of the Company are thoroughly trained and constantly updated with expert members from our Information and Communication Technology Department with view to make them move fast in providing service to our customers and enable them to make fast and accurate decisions for their organizations. However, we have not been exceptionally free of few technical difficulties and claims happening occasionally in the course of our service operations. Under such situation we have always resolved the matter through teamwork with our customer to achieve the desired results. To-date No single dispute, law suit or any legal claim against Superdoll has been made by any person or body of persons. Occupational Health Safety And Rehabilitation Record Health and Safety of our staff and everybody we work with is the key aspect in our standards of operations. Staffs across the Company have been provided with high quality protection materials and equipment for their health in the course of carrying out their operations. Working environment is ultramodern and contains every aspect which ensures safety of everybody.
