Job Summary The Project Manager role is a post within the London ETL Capital Development team that currently has three service lines; Programme Management, Project Management and Cost Management. n conjunction with the senior management team within Capital Development, the Project Manager will support ETL in achieving the overall business plan to grow and develop programme and project management as a leading edge offering to external clients, including NHS organisations and private sector clients. The post holder will be primarily responsible for the service delivery and performance of several Capital Development projects for a large London acute hospital with specialist paediatric facilities. The projects will vary in breadth and scope, the candidate will have a responsibility in leading and managing those projects and working as part of a larger team. The post holder will be expected to hold and achieve annual project performance and personal development targets.the role is full-time client facing, and the post holder will be expected to work within the programme and project management team supporting the development of project management expertise, processes and procedures to ensure a quality assured service delivery. Key Responsibilities 1

2 ccount Management: Manage the sucessful programme and project management delivery on a number of projects of varying size and complexity within a large acute healthcare setting. Service Management: Provide programme and project management services to support and enhance effective delivery of all ETL services (at all stages of the project management cycle). ct as the key point of contact for clients and teams related to own commissions. Support the development of quality assurance in processes and procedures for the service line. Develop client relationships to secure repeat business commissions. Coordinating clinical commissioning in a paediatric facility. Team Management: Responsible for providing leadership to junior staff including assistants, graduates, trainees and project support staff. Financial Management: Responsibility for project change control management and reporting the impacts to budgets. Responsibility for management of the employee s work load and project deliverables within an overall costed resource plan Duties and Responsibilities The following duties and responsibilities cover the full lifecycle of programme and project delivery from Strategic Case through to post occupancy, at a programme and project level, including: Provide a full range of project management services relating to capital development programmes as well as individual projects to a variety of clients, as part of a wider team or individually. Ensure that Value and Risk Management techniques are applied at the outset of a project, in conjunction with the Management Consulting Team where appropriate, and developing a culture of risk and value awareness and management within project delivery teams. mplement an approach to service delivery that focuses on Benefits Realisation at an affordable cost to the client organisation. Be responsible with the Service Line Lead, ssociate and/or Senior Project Manager for managing the resource allocation on own projects, analysing performance against targets and monitoring efficiency of others on own projects. longside the Service Line Lead, ssociate and/or Senior Project Manager, contribute to the service performance of commissions and client satisfaction with outcomes against agreed scope/specifications. Ensure the use of best practice. Proactively monitor progress to ensure that all commissions are managed in line with Company Values, Standing Financial nstructions, and processes, and in compliance with appropriate legislation, statutory approvals and mandatory standards; Personal development: Participate in the Performance Development Review (PDR) to achieve personal objectives, demonstrate the company values and behaviours and follow a personal development plan. 3 Person Specification Project Manager: Healthcare & Science Programme and Project Management Location - London Qualifications/ Education 1 ESSENTL //T* DESRBLE //T* Professional qualification in Project Management-related subject, educated to a Degree or equivalent level in a relevant field or with equivalent experience in a construction consultancy role; 1 Project Management qualification, e.g. PRNCE2 2 PM or equivalent membership 3 NEC3: ECC Project Manager ccreditation Previous experience Evidence of recent Continuing Professional Development. Experience as a Project or Programme Manager gained in a health or science environment, successfully delivering projects of 50k to 10m+, including a record of achievement in delivering complex projects and change management programmes; Experience of managing the procurement and integration of Major Medical Equipment in a healthcare environment Experience of NEC3 contract administration / / / Experience in the management of complex construction projects both new build and refurbishment, including meeting the needs and requirements of large complex operational estates Experience in managing complex design teams which include specialist trades focused on maximising specialist patient benefits Knowledge of specific medical technology and how projects must be integrated with these key technology systems (for example, Nurse Call Systems, Patient Monitoring, maging & Diagnostic Equipment) / / / 3
