1 MLPC International is an Arkema Group subsidiary, first french chemical producer and major actor in the world of chemistry. Arkema group employs directly or through its subsidiaries, people in France and worldwide. Over nearly 70 years, MLPC International has been developping its expertise in the CS 2 (carbon disulfur), CNCl (cyanogen chloride) and amines chemistry. MLPC is a worldwide leader or co-leader in the production and sales of additives for rubber chemistry and fine chemicals intermediates for specialities. MLPC operates in 2 production sites which are managed and controlled through regulations called «SEVESO III high level». 2

3 The MLPC Integrated Management System (IMS) is built around 5 activity fields encompassing the 11 key procedures of the company : STRATEGY, POLICY AND GOALS This field is a full procedure. it allows collective work for deploying the company strategy, policy and goals. It describes the general organization and all the choice settings for internal and external communication. MEANS This field encompasses the 5 procedures of the means deployed : «Customer communication and relationships», «Human means», «Technical means», «Financial means» and «Purchase and supply means». PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT This field is the central procedure for production. It encompasses orders, operationnal planning, production, packaging/storage and shipping activities. RISK MANAGEMENT - This field encompasses the 3 different procedures for risk management : Risks relating to «Changing and innovation», «QHSE» and «Business continuity» within the company. ISSUES AND IMPROVEMENT MANAGEMENT This field is also a full procedure for managing operational hazards and impulse improvements. It ensures a structured and efficient management of identified issues and areas for improvement. 4

4 MLPC International follows the Arkema Group rules to AIMS certification (Arkema Integrated Management System). This standard, jointly built by Arkema and an accredited certification organization (DNV), integrates ISO 9001, ISO et OHSAS standard requirements and specific group requirements. MLPC International has the triple certification : ISO 9001 v2008 ISO v2004 OHSAS v2007 6

5 MLPC International, because of its PLC status (Public Limited Company), is subjected to french financial safety regulations through its membership group. Consequently, MLPC International has developped an internal administration system check, in accordance with these requirements. MLPC International, as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Arkema Group, has joined and implemented the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Group. This undertaking is based on the company s core values and ethics : solidarity, simplicity, performance, responsibility. 7

7 This year MLPC has obtained a "gold rating" based on the EcoVadis* benchmark. As Arkema, MLPC now ranks among the top 5% of companies with the highest CSR performance on this benchmark.
