P-CAP Competence Management Way forward: Deployment of P-CAP 001 guideline throughout the IAQG community Promote and make the Guideline accessible to our industry. Establish relationship with Supply Chain Management Handbook (SCMH) Identify further BoK s that will aid / improve our industry including rightful BoK Owners who are deemed the subject experts and accountable for the topicality and relevance of its content Collaborate with those relevant organisations who have the agreed expertise in developing further BoK s - e.g. PRI / NADCAP with regards to Special Processes such as NDT, Composites, Heat Treatment, Aircraft Assembly, HR, Surface Enhancement. There will be competition and service Providers like PRI

P-CAP Competence Management PRI Board of Directors has approved the proposal to move forward with development of Special Process Body of Knowledge in accordance with PCAP-001 In cooperation with the IAQG People Capability Strategy Stream Leadership, it is recognized that PRI is equipped and willing, and therefore plans to administer Personnel Qualifications for Special Processes. This program will be administered in accordance with IAQG Guidance PCAP 101 for the service providers. The examples of Body of Knowledge that was provided by IAQG P-CAP team, will be coordinated with the applicable PRI team as Special Process Personnel Qualification (SPPQ) Teams. The PRI/SPPQ will be a distinctly separated PRI entity from Nadcap accreditation process. The PCAP-001 People Capability Group must now work with key stakeholders to identify those competences and BoK Owners that are so critical throughout our Supply Chain.

P-CAP Competence Management The Results: Special Process Body s of Knowledge (BoK) examples have been developed and proved by the P- CAP-001 Team. The PRI Board of Directors has approved the proposal to move forward with development of Special Process Body of Knowledge in accordance with PCAP-001 What next: The P-CAP 001 guide is formalised; objective is that it is used throughout the supply chain. Proposal to create a controlled reference file on the IAQG Website (appropriately placed) that will contain generic examples of Body s of Knowledge posted by participating organisations. P-CAP-001 is now being made available on the public area of the IAQG Website The IAQG P-CAP Strategy Stream will then proceed to address other equally important people capability areas identified by the team with other industry service providers.

PEOPLE CAPABILITY - NOW PCAP-001 Competency Management Guideline formally issued (includes Auditor Body of Knowledge Example) Bodies of Knowledge (BoK) Authoritative BoK s are being developed by The Performance Review Institute (PRI) for twenty Special Processes. Organisations are adopting the principles of PCAP-001 for their Learning & Development Frameworks.

PEOPLE CAPABILITY - VISION Provide BoK that are focused upon specified requirements Process 1. Identify BoK that are urgently required 2. Prioritize Development of BoK 3. Perform Gap Analysis Use existing material (no gap) Partner to develop material and provide to IAQG IAQG members develop material 4. Use BoK to gain consistency across our industry 5. Review and improve Advantages - Availability - Based upon stakeholders requirements - Reliable - Provide consistency across our industry - Authorised - Will grow in alignment to requirements / change Disadvantages / Dependencies - Necessitates ownership, maintenance and commitment
