3 Administration notes Purpose Providing forward-looking and ambitious HR professionals with the knowledge, skills and behaviours that they need to enhance the impact that they have at their organisation. Timings and registration Please report to reception on arrival. Registration will be open from 9:00am. Please aim to arrive at the venue by 9:15am at the latest to complete registration. The seminar will begin at 9:30am and finish at approximately 4:30pm on all three days. Preparation The pre work will be ed to you shortly. Lunch and refreshments Refreshments will be provided throughout the day, along with a buffet lunch. A vegetarian lunch option will be available but please let us know if you have any other special dietary requirements on your pre-course questionnaire. Smoking policy It is illegal to smoke anywhere within the venue premises. 4 Terms and conditions Payment Unless otherwise expressly agreed by JSB, payment either by cheque, BACS or credit card must be received within 14 days from the date of invoice, or five days before the event to which this invoice relates, whichever is earlier. Please make cheques payable to JSB Group Ltd. It is a condition of attendance that the event fee has been pre-paid. In the event of late payment we reserve our statutory right to interest at the rate of 8% above base under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act Cancellations, transfers, substitutions and refunds The above requests must all be made in writing. Cancellations The following charges apply if you cancel: 29+ days before an event = 20% of the event fee days before an event = 50% of the event fee 1-14 days before an event = 100% of the event fee Transfers Transfers made 15+ days prior to an event will be charged at 20% of the event fee Transfers made 1-14 days prior to an event will be charged at 50% of the event fee The transfer option only applies to delegates who are transferring to a different date for the same event Delegates must specify their choice of transfer date at the time of transfer The option to transfer can only be used once, after which non-attendance will be treated as a cancellation and all outstanding invoices will be due The original event invoice must be paid in full prior to a transfer invoice being issued If you would like to make a substitution, please call us on and we will be happy to help you. If you wish to travel to the venue using the underground please visit this is the Transport for London website and is a valuable tool for planning your journey. Attached is a tube map that you may find useful along with a street map. By underground The nearest underground station is Liverpool Street (Central Line, Circle Line, Hammersmith & City Line or Metropolitan Line). For exits from all underground lines, follow signs for Liverpool Street mainline station. Once on the main concourse of the mainline station, head for Way Out 1 (Bishopsgate West), located next to Platform 14. Take the escalator or stairs up to street level and as you leave the station, turn left onto Bishopsgate and cross the road. After 500 yards as the road becomes Norton Folgate, you will cross a small road called Spital Square. Bishopsgate Court is the 2nd building on your right (the red brick building opposite the tall glass building). etc.venues Liverpool Street is on the 3rd floor. By air The Heathrow Express runs direct to London Paddington in just 15 minutes (20 minutes from Terminal 5), with a train every quarter of an hour. The Gatwick Express runs a similar service into London Victoria. Light rail services (DLR) run regularly from London City Airport. By car We recommend using Google maps or a sat-nav to plan your individual journey, please use the postcode EC2A 3ER. The Venue does not have a car park attached to the building however there are two NCP car parks within close proximity, one is located on Paul Street and the other Finsbury Square. 6 Consultant biography Angela Qureshi Angela is a business psychologist (MBPsS), Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, and a trained cognitive behavioural coach. She is an HR strategist and an experienced management consultant, trainer and coach, with a background as a consultant at Ernst & Young and Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), and as a former Head of HR at a large university. Angela has been working with JSB since 2005 for clients across a wide range of sectors, and across the spectrum of HR, leadership and organisational development. Work includes: design and delivery of bespoke leadership and management development modular programmes, high performing team development events, specific skills development programmes such as manager as coach, leading and managing change, managing time and expectations, building influence and assertiveness skills, performance management and appraisal training, recruitment and interview training, and related behavioural fields leading JSB's HR Business Partner Development programme initiatives, having designed, delivered and led teams delivering HR development solutions for a wide range of clients as well as for the open programmes. She also leads on a breadth of HR Angela Qureshi Chartered FCIPD and L&D strategy events, and is responsible for innovating new programmes. Topics include HR/L&D measurement and analytics; talent management; developing HR strategy, L&D strategy; strategic approach to induction; HR s role in managing change Working 1x1 with clients. In addition to executive coaching and psychometric work, Angela provides coaching support to HR professionals and supports barristers in preparation for SILK and judicial appointment applications OD project work, including: competency framework development; appraisal and performance management redesign; assessment centre design and conduct; problem diagnosis and evaluation of HR interventions. Sectors span: global manufacturing and engineering, financial services, legal sector, consultancies, professional bodies, universities, the Arts, local government, charities. Angela is a Principal Practitioner member of the Association for Business Psychologists, and a member of the British Psychological Society s Division of Occupational Psychology and Special Group in Coaching Psychology. Angela holds an MSc in Organisational Behaviour and a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology from Birkbeck College, University of London and a BSc Honours degree in Management Sciences from Warwick University.
