A goal may be performance-related, developmental, a special project, or some combination. Setting S.M.A.R.T. Goals: Goals should describe accomplishments, not activities. The S.M.A.R.T. acronym means: S = Specific M = Measurable A = Aligned R = Results Oriented T = Timely Complete the following checklist for each goal to be sure that you are creating S.M.A.R.T. goals: Specific Can you describe the details? Measureable Can you measure it? Aligned Is it consistent with Kaplan priorities? Results Oriented Does this goal help achieve financial performance, further student outcomes or set up the company for future growth? Timely Have you set a time limit? 1.1 General Packaging. Goal Description: Continue to reduce time for general packaging. Eddie does an outstanding job with packaging. He almost always delivers ahead of his deadline with quality work. Start Date: 01/01/2012 Due Date: 12/31/2012 Status: On Track I have met this year's goal of reducing the amount of time it takes to create a package, thus increasing package creation output. 2 1.2 Teamwork Goal Description: Increasing teamwork between the teams and sites, reaching out through , phone calls, and instant messages. Eddie is a great team member. He works extremely well with not only his immediate team but with everyone within technology. Goal Description: I would like to begin testing company applications and just general Windows 8 usage. He always handles last minute requests without issue and goes above and beyond what is required. I have held myself 100% accountable for my daily work, projects, and communications delivered to the enterprise. I use the Magic ticketing system, spreadsheets and SharePoint to document all the work I do, how I do it, and to manage all my packaging projects. At any given time, anyone can easily checkup on a project that I am working on. I pride myself with staying up to date in technology and have continued educating myself this year by obtaining the Windows 7 certification, already started using Server 8 and Windows 8, as well as daily review of sites like computerworld.com, networkworld.com, and mcpmag.com. I am very customer focused and always update the customer when I am beginning their project, I update them on how things are going with their project throughout the process, and then a final when their project is complete. I have received quite a bit of feedback from the customer (as well as from my manager), saying how well I did.
