3 Made in Germany Made by LIKAMED LIKAMED has been successfully operating in the medical sector for more than 30 years. Our recipe for success, i.e. our corporate philosophy, which is embodied in each of our products, is a simple formula that is challenging to fulfil: design coupled with quality. Following this guiding principle all our products are developed, tested, produced and assembled in-house. Our experience as specialists and the most stringent of quality controls guaranty, that Made by LIKAMED will always be synonymous with the highest quality. Design, quality and functionality The product portfolio of LIKAMED comprises therapy and treatment chairs/beds used in the medical and cosmetic treatment sector, as well as side tables and equipment trolleys as ideal aids for the day-to-day life of work. LIKAMED s vast experience is complemented by an continuous training of it s employees to ensure today that the technological advantages of tomorrow will benefit our customers.

All our products undergo internal user-oriented long-term tests. Our chairs, beds and patient tables are monitored regularly by our quality assurance personnel and are in addition tested externally in accordance with current standards; they also carry the TÜV Product Service seal of approval [German Technical Inspection Body]. Our Quality Management System is certified in accordance with ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO LIKAMED was the first company that developed in cooperation with TÜV guidelines for this kind of products in order to ensure the highest possible safety for its customers. 5 Development and construction Device construction and prototyping Quality and design right from the start A long life-cycle, ergonomics based on great design and highest reliability while complying with all standards and specifications are important aspects of product quality and are defined in the first stage as during the initial concept of a new product. The specialists in the construction department are highly committed to fulfilling without compromise all requirements inherent in the development process and in the subsequent production process. 6 Production High-quality machinery quality for the best-possible results Our high-performance band saw machine and fully-automated pipe-bending machine with left and right bending technology are computer-operated and thus achieve a perfect fit with the specifications determined by our construction department. This guarantees you a consistently high manufacturing quality. 7 Production Stress test centre Another performance characteristic is our multi-axle welding robot machines. These weld together several elements synchronously and ensure by way of their continuous operation with consistent parameter settings the quality standard we are known for. In our stress test centre continuous long-term tests, oriented on practical application and run under maximum load conditions, ensure that our products impress as regards stability, reliability and longevity. 8 Assembly Careful detail for highest quality The assembly of the customer-specific end products is carried out on our assembly line by well-trained employees. Once assembly is complete the discharge current is measured in all electrically powered products. Only when all mechanical and electrical tests have been successfully completed our products are released for final inspection Megapulse Porter 2009 The change of location to Eppingen, combined with the new construction of the manufacturing and administration buildings creates additional space for new business sectors and products 2010 Based on the successful concept of the NOVO series the newly developed BEP bed family was created. Designed by Fabio Rezzonico it is setting new benchmarks in terms of safety, comfort, functionality and quality 2011 Sebastian Lipp was appointed Commercial Director

9 Assembly Warehousing and dispatch Bild Neu To ensure the trouble-free tracing of the entire production process which guarantees providing an optimal service each one of our products is accompanied by a test document during assembly. This document records each step of the assembly in minute detail. Only after a final check and clearance by our quality assurance, our products are made available for dispatch. In the right place at the right time: The quality of a product is reflected in meeting all specifications and arriving at the customer destination in time. An optimal and well-organised warehousing guarantees accurate adherence to delivery deadlines The new construction of LIKAMED Pulverbeschichtung GmbH & Co. KG adjacent to the premises of LIKAMED GmbH in Eppingen was built in order to further optimise manufacturing processes 2012 Bernhard Gaupp was appointed Technical Director 2012 Wolf-Universal-Table with automatic patient positioning for kidney stone treatment 2012 Purchase of a second automated lifting equipment to optimise the coating processes

11 Use in the medical sector necessitates special requirements with regard to the finishing of the surfaces: whether this concerns cleanliness, resistance to disinfectants, the quality of the materials and the manufacturing process, or whether it s being able to meet the particular needs of a customer. All these requirements are met by the LIKAMED Pulverbeschichtung GmbH & Co. KG founded in Superior quality is evident throughout the entire production process and in particular with regards to environmental protection as wastewater is treated and a powder recovery cyclone system is used. Which colour suits you best? Environmentally-friendly quality surface finishing The modern production line with chain conveying system and 4-zone pre-treatment is complemented by an additional manual powder coating booth. The booth enables besides large batch production also smaller batches and can take into consideration individual requests such as making colour changes at short notice delivered in time and oriented to costs.
