1 Welcome A warm welcome to our 2018 Select programme Our Select programme is for an exclusive group of independent, strategic brokers with a business ethos aligned to our own. We want to provide you with a package of benefits and services that support you in responding to your business and clients needs. As a Select member, you will receive priority opportunities to attend training, seminars and events throughout 2018, plus resources and information to assist you in your business. You will have dedicated contacts available to you from across our business including a Guardian Director. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to gift a donation to a charity of your choice through Closer To You. For 2018, we re updating the benefits available to you based on feedback from you and your peers. As always, the most important thing to us is supporting you and your business in the ways that add most value. 3 Engage Working together our commitment to you Working in collaboration with you, our goal is to bring our businesses closer together building a mutually beneficial partnership. We aim to be there when you need us, providing quality specialist support and advice to help you develop your business. 1 Account Plan Working with you we will develop a bespoke account plan to help us both identify where we can best work to support you and grow your business. This plan will set out our mutual objectives, commitments and agreed initiatives, forming the foundation of your Select relationship with us. 2 Management Information Our approach is always to listen first and to encourage continuous open feedback. Experience has shown us that working collaboratively helps to maximise our relationship. We will jointly review your account plan on a quarterly basis, using performance data to better understand and respond to the key opportunities and challenges we both face and to enhance the plan. 3 Service Level Agreement As a Select member you can expect the highest standard of customer service from us. We will agree Service Level Agreements with you and include these in your personal account plan. Our relationship managers, underwriters and claims team will work together to deliver a high quality service at all times. PD /18

4 Respond Your key contacts We recognise that a successful partnership is only achieved when you are confident you can access the right person at the right time - consistently. That s why all our Select members have dedicated key contacts throughout our organisation. Relationship Manager Your main day to day point of contact is with your Relationship Manager. Their focus is on working with you to help retain and grow your business. Business Unit Director Your Regional Director will lead the strategic relationship with you and agree the overall direction of our mutual account. They have ultimate responsibility for the delivery of our programme and will be available at any time to discuss all aspects of your experience of dealing with us. Guardian Director As a Select member you have access to a member of our UK leadership team. We want to develop a greater understanding of our joint business goals, creating alignment at a senior level.

5 Risk Relationship Manager You have direct access to a dedicated Risk Relationship Manager, whose role is to support you with advice and guidance on technical risk management and valuation queries. Providing regionally-based support they hold a great understanding of the risks your clients face and are at the end of the phone or to provide you with quality advice and support on a range of topics. 6 Share Access to specialist services and support As a Select member you have access to experts from across our business including sector specialists. We always aim to provide you with the quality support and advice you need, when you need it. We will provide insight and marketing resources to help you grow your business and use with your clients. Technical training A programme of training, webinars and consultation has been designed based on your feedback, and delivered in a format that you have requested. This includes: n Support for your staff s continued professional development on a variety of technical and underwriting themes delivered by our own underwriting and risk control experts. For example; business interruption for specialist sectors, the impact of cyber-crime, trustee indemnity, risk assessments and prevention methods. n Opportunity to explore new ideas and concepts and discuss real life issues. n Practical tools and learning that can be brought back to your business, e.g. social media selling, strategy and planning and getting the most from your sales effort. Insight and marketing tools All Select members have access to MZone, an online marketing platform containing commercial insight and marketing resources. These are ready for you to use and to add your branding. Updated throughout the year, current Insight topics include winter risks and wearable tech.

7 Select Broker Forum and events Our Select Forums offer you the opportunity to meet Ecclesiastical staff and experts, other brokers and offer your thoughts about the Select programme. Held in your local area and hosted by your regional team, this is also where you can discuss concerns within the industry, specific sector issues and request information. Throughout the year, we will also offer you priority booking and opportunities at other events, providing a chance to participate in such things as an exclusive tour, meet & greet and hear from a special guest speaker. Closer To You To help you get closer to your local community and interests close to your heart, we are continuing the Closer To You programme. This invites you to make an application for a donation to a charity of your choice.
