16 G. Other Works and Activities Connected with Scholarly Field Captain in the Israeli Air Force (IAF). a) , Logistic Officer. b) , Head of Administration Officers Training Course. H. Additional Comments and Information and Research Plan Academic Profile At present, the main focus of my work is on two major topics: organizational micro and macro level of analyses, and cross-culture. Mainly, I have started exploring and clarify the "black box" between the HRM system and organizational performance. I consider the HRM system as a managerial tool for fostering and maintaining employees' behaviors, attitudes, and performance that will improve organizational efficiency. This work draws on relevant organizational, sociological, and psychological theories such as: resource-based view, exchange theory, human capital, social capital, justice theory, and attribution theory. Although the emphasis of my work is on HRM structure, I see my self primarily as an organizational scholar. My point of view is that organizations provide a unique research podium for the study of real-life process, occurring both in the level of the individual and the organization as a social setting. Emphasizing the interplay of the different interests existing within that context, I'm in the beginning of several studies focused on the roles of trust, emotions, and justice within organizational system and between organizations and their clients. For example, how trust can reduce aggressive patient behavior? The second major topic of my research is cross cultural research. I would like to focus my attention on comparing different phenomena at the individual level such as trust, as well as at the organizational level, HRM structure, in different countries such as USA, Australia, Spain, UK, and Netherlands. Looking forward, I plan to concentrate on building a body of knowledge that advances our understanding of the entire processes that determine how HRM practices and trust impact employees and client's attitudes and behaviors?
