What makes Dentons different? Let our trainees tell you. Our strategy Because of the Firm s bold strategy, I felt like I could be a part of something that s different, new and growing. I liked that dynamism.

Global and local market forces are rapidly changing the practice of law. Clients expect high-quality, seamless service delivered faster, cheaper and better everywhere. Globalization and the corresponding desire to protect cultural identity is creating challenges and opportunities for law firms around the world. In that environment we have created Dentons, the world s only truly polycentric, global law firm, to meet these challenges. All successful organizations have a clear vision of what they would like to be in the future, and a strategy for how to get there. The Dentons vision is to be the law firm of the future right now. Our strategy is to grow, integrate and reinvent our business. You have the opportunity to help build the law firm of the future and be a part of the strategy that gets us there. Dentons. Our strategy makes us different.

Our innovative nature Dentons is at the cutting edge of technology and the future of law, namely NextLaw and other initiatives.

The Dentons vision is to be the law firm of the future right now. We are working to reinvent the business of law, capitalizing on new technologies and talent management approaches to better serve our clients. The legal profession has not benefitted from technology like other professional services industries. We plan to change that. That s why we created NextLaw Labs, a global collaborative innovation platform focused on developing, deploying, and investing in new technologies and processes to transform the practice of law around the world. Through NextLaw Labs we are engaging strategic partners from the technology community to build and bring to market new products that will allow us to work better, smarter and provide more value for our clients. And with Dentons, you will have the unique opportunity to pilot and test new technology and innovation unavailable at any other firm. Dentons. Our innovative nature makes us different.

Our culture The forward-thinking culture of the Firm, the international opportunities and the people drew me to Dentons over other firms.

One of the things that makes Dentons unique is our polycentric approach: we have no one global headquarters and no dominant national culture. We offer clients talent from diverse backgrounds and countries, with deep experience across many geographies and every tradition of law, enabling us to get a deal done or dispute resolved in virtually every corner of the world. That same polycentric approach that places a premium on the contributions of all of our lawyers, professionals and trainees, makes for a uniquely positive culture in which you can grow and expand your career. Dentons. Our culture makes us different.

Our people The lawyers I met during the recruiting process were very interesting and very welcoming. They inspired me.

Dentons is home to top-tier talent that is found at the intersection of geography, industry knowledge and substantive legal experience. Following our combination with 大成, we will offer more lawyers and services in more places than any other firm in the world. That offering reflects how we see the practice of law changing. Offices used to be the principal places in which services were performed, and that is still the case in many large, more traditional law firms. At Dentons, we view our offices as portals that connect legal talent across regions. Working with Dentons, you will have the opportunity to work with the top legal talent around the corner and around the world. Dentons. Our people make us different.

Our global reach Dentons is an unprecedented international force in the legal industry with an exciting future ahead that I want to be a part of.

Clients want three things: extensive experience, deep industry knowledge and local cultural understanding wherever they operate. Dentons operates at the intersection of all three. Practice experience is a given table stakes, as it were. In the Internet age, industry knowledge can be researched on the way to a client meeting. And, of course, clients expect firms to know the territory where they have offices. Rather than sending lawyers from traditional legal markets to open an office in other markets, we favor whole firm combinations. Each of Dentons foundational firms was truly in and of the communities it served: firmly grounded with the leading corporate clients and industries in its regions. We continue that tradition today. At Dentons you can be a part of a firm that offers more presence in more places. With 125+ locations in 50+ countries, we offer a world of opportunity for your career. Dentons. Our global reach makes us different.

About Dentons ^Dentons is a global law firm driven to provide a competitive edge in an increasingly complex and interconnected world. Dentons clients now benefit from 3,000 lawyers and professionals in more than 80 locations spanning 50-plus countries. With a legacy of legal experience that dates back to 1742 and builds on the strengths of our foundational firms Salans, Fraser Milner Casgrain (FMC), SNR Denton and McKenna Long & Aldridge the Firm serves the local, regional and global needs of private and public clients. In 2015, the Firm announced its intention to combine with Chinese firm 大成. Upon launch, the new firm will offer clients experience from more than 6,600 lawyers and professionals in more than 125 locations and 50-plus countries. dentons.com/uk-graduates

Diversity & inclusion Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) is about building a culture where we all respect, support and learn from our collective skills, talents and differences. By design, Dentons is a diverse community and it is important that we reflect the environments in which we live and work. Essential to our success is our ability to attract and retain the best talent from a diverse range of backgrounds. Our D&I values are reflected in our recruitment process: it is important that the legal profession is accessible to all, regardless of background. We work with Aspiring Solicitors, Pure Potential and SEO London, which provide access to the profession to under-represented groups, and Enabling Enterprise and Worktree (Milton Keynes), which prepare young people for the world of work. Dentons is a member of the Graduate Recruiters Disability Café Club; we welcome applications from candidates with disabilities. We have a variety of internal network groups to help enable our staff to fulfil their potential, from our Women s Network, our LGBT network group, GLOW, to internal return to work mentors who support those returning to work after extended leave. We support the Black Solicitors Network (BSN), are a Diversity Champion member of Stonewall, and a signatory of the Law Society s Diversity & Inclusion Charter.
