The support you can expect from NET EXPAT ranges from career counseling, help with writing a CV/resume or cover letter in line with local standards in your host country, preparing for interviews through role-playing techniques, gathering information on the local job market and companies worth targeting, to supporting you in becoming self-employed, pursuing further education, or simply investigating together how to best value the time abroad when paid work is not an option in your specific case. NET EXPAT also offers you the flexible option to move forward with your job search remotely using the NET EXPAT Intranet: you will have personalised access to our country-specific web based resources centre. You will also get access to the NET EXPAT Community, a brand-new web-based social networking environment 100% dedicated to expat partners from around the world, allowing you to network with other expats partners and share experiences. 3 Job Search Coaching (JSC) Are you looking to work abroad? Here is a flexible and motivating program for you if you want to work during your expatriation. Thanks to the pick-and-mix approach, you will benefit from full personalized support. This program provides you with the resources to get that job you re dreaming of. You will benefit from 12 hours of individual face to face sessions with your NET EXPAT consultant. Together with your personal NET EXPAT local expert, you will learn how to successfully master the challenges of the job market in your new host country, and convince local employers to invest in you. This JSC is the perfect support if you are keen to pursue your career and further develop your talents while abroad. 4 Self-employment support (SEP) 100% tailor-made programs aimed at helping you if you wish to work on a freelance basis or start your own business while abroad. This program can be easily combined with Job Search Coaching should you be unsure about your career options. SELF-EMPLOYMENT SUPPORT NET EXPAT will significantly facilitate your research and help you figure out how you could work on a self-employed basis in your new host country. We will provide you with ongoing assistance as you become more aware and more integrated into the business realities of your new market. Throughout the program your NET EXPAT consultant will supply you both with practical business advice, as necessary, together with continuous moral and personal support to enable you to successfully establish yourself as self-employed. 5 Career Continuation Coaching (CCC) CAREER CONTINUATION COACHING PROGRAM DESCRIPTION This program is the perfect replacement for our Job Search Coaching program in countries where working is not an option for you because of work permit barriers. It provides you with alternatives to paid employment (e.g. volunteering, professional development) using a pick-and-mix approach. It supports your career development during your time abroad to improve your chances of professional reintegration after your expatriation. This program will open up your horizons in a flexible and motivating way. One-on-one coaching guarantees you with a customized approach to define how you will make the best of your time abroad, and make sure you review all local alternatives to paid employment, including volunteering, further educations. It is run in your host country by NET EXPAT experts who have a comprehensive knowledge of these alternatives, and are sensitive to the challenges of your expatriation. 6 Social Integration Coaching (SIC) If you are not willing to work abroad, this is your ideal support as non-working accompanying partners. This program is designed for those who do not wish, or are legally unable to work in the host country but are interested in staying socially active during their expatriation (further education, volunteering ). PROGRAM DESCRIPTION This program offers essential support for you as non-working accompanying partners. Instead of counting on luck to meet the right people to open-up the right doors at the right time, your personal consultant will guide you throughout your transition phase to ensure you discover all opportunities around you. As a result of this program you will feel more confident, more open to new friends and opportunities to enjoy your expatriation alongside your family. Depending upon your identified individual needs expressed, the following aspects can be covered: Development of a Partner Integration Plan based on your personal wishes: - Assessment of your areas of interest - Review of your life objectives - Selection of your best future integration options Specific Coaching Sessions: What - How to cope with a new culture expatriation for me? - How to organize your life in your new country - Efficient networking - Facilitating your children s integration (if applicable) - How to stay in contact with your friends and family back in your home country Instead of providing a generic non-tailored list of clubs and associations, you and your consultant will establish a personalized and well thought out short list of associations, clubs and schools to facilitate your integration into your new host country.
