3 SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM (link) Our job is to set the terms for, and follow up that players in the petroleum industry are maintaining, a high standard of health, safety and the environment, so that the risk of major accidents, undesirable incidents and work-related injuries and illnesses is reduced. 4 COMMUNICATION AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS - Media management - Press function - Responding to general questions from the public The human resources manager for communication and public affairs is press spokesperson Inger Anda (link) who reports to the director-general.

5 SUPERVISION Supervision is organised in six main groups. Each of these has a supervision coordinator (link) with product responsibility and formal 1. Statoil (offshore operations). 2. 6 PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE The PSA is divided into six discipline areas. Each area is headed by a discipline leader (link) responsible for quality, human resources, expertise development and resource management. 1. Drilling and well technology 2. Process integrity 3. Structural integrity 4. Logistics and emergency preparedness 5. Occupational health and safety. 6. HSE management

7 LEGAL AND REGULATORY AFFAIRS Legal and regulatory affairs is divided into four areas. Each of these is headed by a coordinator responsible for their area. 1. Legal assessments and quality assurance 2. Collaboration agreements 3. Special projects, including support for the ministry
