1 Marketing and Student Recruitment JOB DESCRIPTION POST: LOCATION: SALARY/GRADE: CONTRACT: RESPONSIBLE TO: POST OBJECTIVES: Recruitment & Events Coordinator UCFB Etihad Campus Up to 19,000 per annum Permanent Assistant Events Manager To support recruitment activities with the aim of educating and engaging students to consider UCFB KEY TASKS: Support the delivery of student focused engagement and recruitment activities on and off campus Assist with the organisation and delivery of a variety of academic and student events including open days, taster days, education forums and conferences, both UK based and international Support the coordination of inbound and outbound (both UK based and international) school and event bookings as in partnership with the Academic Relationship Managers including; confirming dates, times and format of event. Liaising with schools and event organisers to meet requirements Diarise appointments for the Academic Relationship Managers Offer advice and guidance about higher education and UCFB to prospective students at events, online or over the phone To support the Recruitment team in the collection and maintenance of recruitment data Support the production of statistical reports and competitor analysis Assist with the preparation and production of an annual calendar of events, student recruitment reports and statistics Attend undergraduate Higher Education and Careers conferences and other similar events across the UK where required Assist with Clearing, Enrolment, Graduation and other high profile events across the institution

2 Ensure that student recruitment and outreach activities are consistent with UCFB strategic plans and, as far as possible, external stakeholder requirements now, and in the future Support the development of a student ambassador scheme and assist in the deployment of student ambassadors in to targeted recruitment activities To be familiar and compliant with relevant UCFB policies and regulations Continue to develop personal professional capability and expertise through development and professional activities Other duties as directed by the Assistant Events Manager and Events Manager To undertake appropriate staff development and professional training in line with the business objectives of UCFB To work within the policies of Health and Safety and Equal Opportunities To work flexibly and responsibly and undertake any other duties relevant to the level of the post

Qualifications and Training Degree 2:1 in a Business, Management, Sport or a relevant discipline 1 & 4 2. Previous Work Experience Experience of working as part of a team Experience of working with young people Event Coordination experience 3. Specific Knowledge / Skills / Abilities required Microsoft office competency An understanding of Higher Education sector A high attention to detail Ability to multi-task and handle multiple tight deadlines An understanding of the student recruitment cycle Competency in a foreign language Excellent organisatonal skills Ability to work on own initiative Excellent verbal and written communication skills Confidence to be in public facing positions

5 Terms and Conditions of Employment relevant to post Job title: Hours: Salary: Work base: may Recruitment & Events Coordinator (Etihad) Full Time 8.30 am 5 pm Up to 19,000 per annum Normally, UCFB Etihad Campus but any of UCFB s premises as be required Contract: Permanent Holidays: 33 days paid holiday, including the usual public holidays in England & Wales Benefits: Christmas/ New Year closure period (10 discretionary days), pension (statutory auto enrolment scheme), flexible benefits package with Perkbox, occupational maternity / paternity pay after qualifying period, life assurance, employee events, ride to work scheme, continuous personal development. Subject to: Satisfactory DBS check Satisfactory completion of the Probationary period 6 months Right to work in the UK: compliance with Asylum and Immigration Act 1996 and Immigration Asylum and Nationality Act 2006 Evidence of stated qualifications relevant to the post Evidence of membership of relevant professional bodies as stipulated by the post Not being subject to a Football Banning Order or any lawful prohibition on entering a football stadium in the UK
