NBY is the operational company of the Yawuru Native Title Holders Aboriginal Corporation. NBY manages the day to day business of Yawuru and is engaged in a diverse range of projects which help to provide social, cultural, environmental and financial sustainability for the future of Yawuru people. PRIMARY FUNCTION The Commercial Business Analyst is responsible for advising the company on the best outcomes for specific business problems; for supporting organisational initiatives; ensuring in-depth understanding of business requirements; identifying opportunities; providing exceptional stakeholder management; identifying leads; and providing accurate and timely solutions. ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA 1. Diploma in Business or related field or a Bachelor s degree in business. 2. Minimum of 5 years in business analyst or related field. 3. Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills 4. Proven ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions. 5. Experience creating high quality reports and giving presentations. 6. Track record of following through on commitments. 7. Excellent planning, organisation and time-management skills. 8. Excellent computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and database skills. 9. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA 1. Tertiary qualifications in Financial industry 2. Highly motivated individual with Strong attention to detail 3. Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, cultures and issues effecting them 4. Experience working in culturally diverse workplaces.

LINE MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES COMMUNICATIONS AND ENGAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES External funding bodies or government agencies NBY Management team Internal NBY colleagues Internal and other NBY stakeholders, as required KEY RESPONSIBILITIES BUSINESS ANALYSIS Understand business needs as they relate to a potential change or transformation. Gather, identify and document business requirements. Explain technical jargon to non-technical / commercial teams. Simplify requirements, so they are easily understood across the whole team. Business process modelling and improving business processes. Identify costs and business savings. Implement, test and deploy solutions to business problems. Support business transition and help to establish change. Create functional specifications for new systems and processes. Act as an advisor to senior managers and executive teams. Provide high level support and information coordination for relevant Managers including the implementation of partnership communication, reports and administration; Research, proactively identify and communicate business opportunities; Build effective working relationships with relevant internal stakeholders; Develop and enhance networks with external stakeholders; As required, represent NBY s interests in negotiations and activities in line with NBY s approved strategic direction.
