3 Introduction Testing TTR-Concept on Brenner Routing As agreed by the RNE General Assembly (May 2017) and FTE Plenary Assembly (June 2017), TTR will be implemented gradually with tests being conducted in pilots to test some of the important and innovative TTR components. RNE and FTE defined three single line pilots and one network pilot (see map). Rotterdam These pilots will be operative for timetable 2020 and the following year The goals of the pilots are: Proof of the business reference model s accuracy Definition and specification of data reference model for capacity Gathering input for process steering methods (e.g. allocation rules, commercial conditions) Gathering input for performance reference model Comparing capacity model with actual requests Amount of modifications/alterations Percentage of safeguarded capacity vs. residual capacity usage. Miranda de Ebro Antwerpen Mannheim Verona München More information about the TTR-Concept and the three TTR-Pilots is available online on 3

4 Introduction Development of the Capacity Model This document contains the Capacity Model of the on the RFC 3 routing: It describes the capacity reserved for the new TTR-Product Rolling Planning in terms of amount of paths and displays the position of the bandwidth on each day of the week. Developing the Capacity Model for the TTR- Pilot Brenner The capacity model is necessary for the TTR-Project to evaluate the amount of reserved capacity for the "rolling planning" (dynamic traffic) offer. The first capacity model will be provided for the timetable-year 2020 on the routing Munich-Verona. Input for the capacity model was provided from all stakeholders: Railway Undertakings (Passenger and Freight Traffic), Regional Government, Rail Authorities, Works and Possessions. The provides preconstructed paths for freight traffic. Out of these complete offer of paths for the freight traffic, the paths reserved for the Rolling Planning offer will be selected. 4
