2 There has never been a better time to employ an apprentice. Apprenticeships enable companies to grow their own workforce, providing highly-qualified and motivated employees. It s an economic imperative that we increase the number of employers who engage with apprenticeships in order to boost the economy and help businesses grow and become more productive. The National Apprenticeship Show is an excellent way for young people and their parents to meet with top employers who are offering a range of fantastic apprenticeships, face to face, all in one place. It will also enable employers to meet with young talent and the workforce of the future. I would encourage all businesses to consider how employing an apprentice can help them grow. 3 ABOUT THE EVENT The First National Apprenticeship Show takes place at the fantastic ArenaMK on March 2016 and will bring together employers, colleges and providers with those wanting to find out more about what apprenticeships can offer. The National Apprenticeship Show exists only to promote apprenticeships and our message is clear apprenticeships work for both candidates and employers alike.

The National Apprenticeship Show takes place at the state of the art, purpose built, ArenaMK which is part of the Stadium MK complex in Milton Keynes. This fantastic venue benefits from extensive facilities including virtually unlimited free parking.

5 HOW DOES IT WORK? It s simple we create a lively, interactive and fun environment for employers and providers large and small to showcase the apprenticeships that they have available to people from within a 2 hour driving time.

7 WHO WILL VISIT? We will market this event extensively throughout our catchment area and will ensure promotion to all secondary schools including grammar and independent schools. Evening Opening The event will be open on the Monday evening in an effort to engage with those that influence - namely parents and carers.

14 The National Apprenticeship Show will attract thousands of visitors from our catchment area. We are targeting some 2,000 schools, community groups and other organisations making it the best opportunity you have of promoting your apprenticeship offering to local people.
