Project Description: 2InS focused on the design, development, establishment and operation of Territorial level S.M.E.s Innovation and Internationalisation Support Clusters (2InS Clusters), involving Actors of all critical fields. These Clusters based their operation upon common rules and tools (integrated management system, 3

4 methodological tools on businesses internationalisation and knowledge transfer and application, etc.). The 2InS Clusters collaborated in the frame of a transnational level Experts Network, which on the one hand provided relevant information and guidance, whilst contributed to the smooth flow of information, knowledge and businesses among the participating territories and to the interfacing among the Clusters. 01/ /2011 Governmental Social Responsibility (GSR) Model: An Innovative Approach of Quality in Governmental Operations and Outcomes. Project Description: G.S.R targeted at the sustainable socio-economic development of South Eastern European regions, through effectively tackling the crucial issue of the quality and sustainability of the Public Sector. Specifically, G.S.R. focused on the dynamic enhancement of the competences and the capacity of the governmental agencies, in order to improve their productivity and efficiency, and initiated and facilitated the transition process towards excellence. Further, it defined and introduced the concept of organisational social responsibility in the Public Sector s Agencies and built upon this schema. Towards this direction the partners worked on the development of a Model G.S.R. System, which was practiced in specific departments of governmental agencies of the target regions and led to the design and application of pilot Action Plans in the corresponding critical fields of intervention. 10/ /2010 KNOW-IN-TARGET Framework: KNOWledge and Innovation TARGETed Dissemination Framework. Description: This project produced a cohesive framework in supporting the adoption of knowledge and innovation society concept at the regional level, with a transnational and cross-sector approach/methodology, laying on the needs for: a) Targeted knowledge transfer to SMEs and b) Coordinated, cross-sector and goaloriented action with the synergetic participation of key actors of all categories/levels concerned in designing-testing-applying rational strategies for Knowledge Society at the regional level. 10/ /2009 Creation of Educational Material for Adults, Alumni of the University of Patras. 4

5 Co-investigator, Financed by the Greek Ministry of Labor and Social Security. NON - ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE 06/ /2006 Regional Development Fund, Region of Western Greece. Internship, Department of Financial Management of Investment Programmes. Duties: Member of the team that provided organisational and administrative support in departments dealing with taxation, cash administration and loans, including contracting with foreign entities. Also, the team undertook work for the Annual Regional Investment Program (ARPIP), as well as budgeting for other development programs. Regularly, the department monitored programming, compiled financial progress reports on implementation and compliance as well as contributed to the management of government financing through EU, international organisations and other foreign entities. 06/ /2005 IMS Hellas S.A. Duties: Assisted the Department Manager -of an international home and garden furniture manufacturer with 1 million in annual sales- in preparing the financial statements from operational metrics and inputs.
