On the other hand, the special organizational configuration of the group, made up by members of several Spanish and European Universities, as well as the high quality of the human and material means available, are elements that favour an appropriate rationalization of the services on hand and therefore their cost effectiveness. Furthermore, all these guarantee the group's reliability and competitiveness. EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITIES The research Group Mobbing as a work risk offers the companies, the industry and the public organizations a highly qualified human potential and the most advanced technical support to tackle the search for technicaljuridical solutions to put an end to the problem of harassment at work. The intense research activity carried out by the group within the scope of psychological harassment at the workplace allows for a detailed and systematic analysis of the judicial and forensic practice of the subject, as well as the study of the judicial and psychosocial implications of the many factors involved in the unleashing of this kind of behaviour. The lines of work of the group are focused on four main areas: 1. Evaluation of the social impact of the mobbing phenomenon through its analysis by activity branches or sectors, kind of productive organizations and work collectives affected. Assessment of the influence degree of the new work organization systems and of the application of new technologies. Bust of Carlos III. Getafe Campus. University Carlos III of Madrid.

2. Systematisation of the obtained results for planning appropriate preventive policies depending on the sort of company or productive organization. Assessment of the role to be played by collective bargaining. 3. Classification of the different practices of workplace harassment in order to shape an appropriate action framework for laying down and developing palliative measures. 4. Assessment of the protection mechanisms at a procedural and disciplinary level. Adaptation of legal reparation instruments, in the fields of both Social Security and economic liability, investigating possible insurance ways.

The solutions the group offers are mostly directed towards preventive actions by designing plans to minimize the risk of appearance of harassment incidents. These plans allow: Answering legal requirements imposed to companies by the current regulation framework for risk prevention. Avoiding the unleashing of business liability mechanisms (economic, surcharge on benefits, administrative or even penal) that may arise from the failure to fulfil said obligations. Ascertaining possible ways to get insured against these responsibilities. Avoiding business costs derived from harassment (absences and invalidity leaves) that have a negative effect on the overall productivity of organizations. Once the harassment has taken place, the Group includes specialists for: Dealing, in a comprehensive way, with the different aspects of the problem, either judicial issues (legal consultancy, legal assistance), or psychosocial ones (clinical diagnosis, expert reports). Arbitrate extrajudicial settlement mechanisms for disputes within the organization in order to minimize the negative effects that the appearance and development of these issues involve both for the victim in particular, and for the collective group and the company itself at large.

OUR EXPERIENCE The dissemination of the last four years research results of the group which were carried out within the framework of a Research Project funded by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science, has allowed the collaboration with companies and institutions affected by this problem and to whom advice has been given, considering different points of view, for finding specific solutions to the issues arisen in each case.

INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS The structure and composition of the Group, which includes well known specialists involved in a well established interdisciplinary collaboration dynamic, give it an unquestionable potential to successfully deal with the search of solutions adapted to the different kinds of productive organizations, independently of their significance or (public or private) nature, and always bearing in mind the incidence rate of the phenomenon on each single case. On the other hand, and just for this reason, the Group is ideally positioned to offer its services to all those institutions (law firms, business or professional associations) that may require advising on the subject.
