Attempts to enlighten the students about the concept & scope of Industrial Relations, various models & ways to analyze Co- Operation &conflict. 2. To analyze the Meaning causes & Consequences of Industrial disputes & something about the Collective bargaining. 3. Attempts to about acquaint the students Labour Management Co- Operation & Importance of labour participation in various committees. 4. To acquaint the students about Grievance Handling Procedure & need of Disciplinary action. 1. The students would have gotten a clear sense of Industrial Relations Problems there of like co-operation & conflict. 2. Students could have had a clear understanding of the cause of Industrial disputes & collective Bargaining. 3. Students would have got exposure the role of healthy Labour Partiapation through committees for Industrial peace. 4. Students would have understood Modern procedure & Disciplining Procedure & Action. Core Paper- 2:- Labour Legislation -1 Objectives:- 1. It attempts to highlight scope and types of labour legislation. 2. Students are exposed to the Factories Act & mines Act, It attempts to introduce to students Industrial Employment standing orders Act, 1946 & trade union Act, 1926.

2 4. To acquaint students the importance of Industrial disputes Act, Students would have learnt the importance of labour legislation. 2. The students would have strengthened their knowledge in different provisions under the factories Act, 1948 & mines Act, 1952/ 3. The students would have received payment of subsistence Allowance & Right & Responsibilities of Trade Unions. 4. The students would have gained perception on the various settlements Machinery under Id Act, Semester -2 Core -3 Principles & Practices of Management Objectives:- 1. By the end of course the students would have gained knowledge about the importance of human resource Management. 2. Students would have learnt some theories of motivation. Core-6 Trade Unions and Employment Relations Objectives:- 1. To come to an understanding of Meaning Functions types of trade union. 2. Attempts to teach the student about different theories of trade union. 3. An insight in to the Problems of trade union.

Students would have got exposure to the meaning function & types of trade unions. 2. To acquaint students with social security concept scope and approaches. 2. To familiarize them with provisions Related to employee s compensation. 3. To make them gain knowledge of the terms and concepts exclusive for maternity benefit Act, TO enable them different benefits of employee s state insurance Act, The student would have acquainted themselves with concept, scope approaches of social security. 2. To acquaint the students with fixing & revising of minimum wage. 2. To make them gain knowledge maintenance of Registers and Records related to payment of wages. 3. To familiarize them with eligibility and disqualification for Bonus.

To introduce the students the different facilities provided under the ISMW Act, The student would have acquainted themselves with the provisions under minimum wages Act, They would have familiarized themselves with the Responsibility for payment of wages. 3.
