He had been invited in different countries and have conducted reliability and maintenance trainings in United Arab Emirates, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Nigeria, Thailand, Bangladesh, Botswana, Qatar, South Africa, and China. His portfolio of maintenance trainings include Maintenance Management courses on TPM, Lubrication, Tribology, Condition-Based Maintenance, RCM, RCFA, Planned Maintenance, World Class Maintenance Management, The Twelve Disciplines, Oil Contamination Control, Maintenance Indices and KPI, Maintenance Management System and much more. Rolly previously worked with Amkor Technology Philippines as a TPM Senior Engineer, an industry engaged in the manufacture of IC products and spearheaded their Planned Maintenance organization compose of maintenance managers and engineers. He was responsible for the dramatic reduction of unplanned breakdowns in their TPM Journey as well as RCM implementation on their Facilities Air Handling Units and as well as their sub-station equipment. Rolly is currently working as an independent reliability and maintenance consultant. Rolly had written 2 books on maintenance which are World Class Maintenance Management The 12 Disciplines and his recent book on Maintenance Roadmap to Reliability a book that makes every maintenance feel proud that they belong to the maintenance function. About this Training This training will cover two of the most important strategies on maintenance which is Root Cause Failure Analysis and Reliability-Centered Maintenance. RCFA will provide the delegates with an understanding on how to probe or investigate equipment related failures by determining the physical, human and latent cause of the probem while RCM provides a detailed approach on how to derive the correct maintenance tasks for our equipment and assets through the aid of an algorithm or Decision Diagram.

2 RCFA Course Overview It is a common practice due to lack of time and information that equipment and system failures are often investigated at a superficial level. As a result both operators and maintenance keep running unreliable plant, which cause repeated losses and become experts at fixing failures rather than understanding the its causes. This training will help you to learn what a true and meaningful Root Cause Failure Analysis and how deep the probe should be to finally uncover the root causes that will eventually end recurring problem making us proactive RCFA Course Objective: Understand the importance of Root Cause Failure Analysis as a tool in achieving a Proactive environment in our workplace Provide an understanding on why we need to perform Root Cause Failure Analysis Provide an opportunity to practice Root Cause Failure Analysis and the different tools on a real workplace problem situation Provide participants a working knowledge of Failure Analysis case study which will enable participants to correctly pinpoint design, installation, operating factors that contribute to short equipment lifespan Study the different types of wear and why do mechanical component fails in the first place and how to control them the different wear. Understand how deep our probe or when do we stop with our analysis on Root Cause Understand the different levels of Root Cause Failure Analysis and addressing the latent cause of the problem RCM Course Overview: This course covers the principles of RCM which is a process used to determine the maintenance requirements of any physical asset in its present operating context. RCM is done by asking seven questions about our asset or system that is being maintained - What are the functions and associated performance standards of the asset in its present operating context? - In what ways does it fail to fulfill its functions? - What causes each functional failure? - What happens when each failure occurs? - In what ways does each failure matters? - What can be done to predict or prevent each failure? - What should be done if a suitable proactive tasks cannot be found? RCM was discovered by Stanley Nowlan and Howard Heap from United Airlines industry and emerged from the most important piece of research ever done on an equipment. RCM explains the capabilities as well as the limitation of scheduled Preventive Maintenance. RCM is a process to determine what should be done in order to ensure that our physical assets continue to do whatever the user wants them to do in its present operating context. RCM Course Objective: Provide a deeper understanding on what it takes for our maintenance to be most effective and efficient. Realize that maintenance tasks will be based from the consequences of the failure itself Know when to use the different maintenance tasks at hand with the aid of a Decision Diagram Learn the 6 failure patterns and how it affects us in our day to day maintenance activities Learn how to apply Reliability-Centered Maintenance in our daily activities
