4 Area one Leadership (Alignment of resources & activities around strategy) To foster a creative, innovative & entrepreneurial culture within the teams (Operations/Energy/MS/Finance); To help with motivating, developing & training colleagues as appropriate; To deliver agreed targets through participation of the team via clear objectives; To be a leader of 'Culture Change' (from Linear Economy to Circular Economy); influence direct team and peers towards the achievement of SITA UK's goals. Area two Regional Strategy Formulation & Implementation To actively contribute to the development & refinement of the RS and facility specific BGPs for delivery; To support the overall process of management and decisionmaking for the Region; To ensure strong & dynamic communication lines with Operations, Energy, Logistics, MS & Support Services; To identify and promote the development of new, solution driven, opportunities; To support the Processing division's CRM of its Key Customer Accounts; direct resources to have optimum return on investment over agreed periods. 5 To help identify, plan & support continuous improvement activities in line with corporate goals/bgs/bgps; To develop business focussed analytical and bidding/sales models for use by the business; To track operational activities/costs/revenues in line with BGS/BGPs and actively engage in the strategic plans and that the correct measures are used and followed; To support "look backs" on significant developments and identify further operational improvements; optimise the current assets to allow market penetration in line with SITA UK's goals. Area four New Business Development (Bidding, Long-cycle commercial relationships) To identify, support and plan Business Development activities/resources to optimum effect; To provide strong commercial direction plus toolkit/processes; To ensure each BGP is in line with the strategic plan; To support in the delivery of a consistently growing and profitable regional revenue stream; To ensure there are strong and dynamic communication lines with other functions; develop new business market penetration in line with SITA UK's goals. Area five New Commercial Sales (Selling, Short-cycle commercial relationships) To support, plan and direct Business Development activities/resources to optimum effect; To provide strong commercial direction plus toolkit/processes/pipelines; To ensure each new sales waste flows are optimised using existing facilities; SUEZ recycling and recovery UK Recruitment process Roles and responsibilities 5 of 8

6 To support in the delivery of a consistently growing and profitable regional revenue stream; To ensure there are strong and dynamic communication lines with other functions; develop new business market penetration in line with SITA UK's goals. Area six Customer Relationship & P&L Optimisation To contribute to retention, growth and conversion strategies to optimise market share, improve efficiency and deliver outstanding customer service; To support the business in broadening & improving of key relationships; To identify and assist in developing new, solution driven, opportunities; To identify (help create a culture that identifies) 'P&L' blindness/silo thinking and proactively address support our goal of optimising profitability through retention / customer profitability strategies. Area seven Market Intelligence / Networking To contribute to a culture that captures market information and uses it to make decisions; To support the establishment of marketing & service differentiations to increase market penetration; To support the business in the broadening & improvement of the relationships between SUEZ R&R UK and stakeholders; maintain and grow market share by being one step ahead of the competition. 7 Area eight Optimising Support Service & Internal Relationships with Management Accounts, ensure accurate information is recorded to enhance general decision making; with MIS, make process & 'outputs' clear with a view to enhancing systems to support delivery; with all Support Services, work proactively to identify & coordinate support delivery needs; capitalise on focussed, streamlined and efficient internal functions.
