15 Human Resources Human Resources 662 employees, drawing on many years of experience and training, but mainly distinguished by their passion, loyalty and dedication to the company s principles and values KAFKAS S.A. has no more valuable asset than its people. Ever since the company was established it has been setting up capable and dynamic working teams improving workforce efficiency and increasing employee productivity. Our objective is to supplement the initial training of our staff with ongoing procedures for the improvement and enhancement of their skills. We make ongoing investments in the professional and personal development of our personnel, with continuous training programs that help them acquire new knowhow and develop their talents and skills.

16 Innovation Vocational Training Service The Kafkas Institute of Training & Development is a model initiative set up by KAFKAS to provide specialist training programs. Offers knowledge and resources to company customers and to all those interested in acquiring better opportunities for career advancement. 18 Partnerships/Alliances On 1/1/2013 V. KAFKAS S.A. became a full member of the FEGIME Group an alliance of European companies dealing in electrical equipment technology. The FEGIME Group does business in 17 countries in Europe. It has 190 corporate members with approximately 950 outlets selling electrical equipment. The main objectives of the FEGIME Group are the exchange of best practices and know-how among members and the improvement of relations between its trader members and the leading European suppliers.

20 Business Development B2B Sales 16 Account Managers, focused on fully meeting major customer requirements, exploring current needs and monitoring the progress of supplied solutions. B2B Presales 12 Presales Engineers & 40 Technical Experts support the sales department as part of our mission to provide fully integrated services to our customers. Responding to customer requests within 48 hours is the cornerstone of service excellence.

21 Business Development Lighting The Lighting Department provides professional lighting design services to commercial and residential projects based on a 4 phase process: 1. Customer requirements 2. Main concept 3. Technical specifications 5. Technical support and supervision of completed installations. Projects Equipment & Services KAFKAS department that handles selected projects, providing interdepartmental and major supplier coordination to ensure time and cost effective project implementation.

22 Business Development Energy Solutions & Industry Implementing the company s strategy, the Energy Solutions & Industry department addresses contemporary challenges through responsible business practices. The Energy Solutions & Industry department designs diverse applications to maximize return on investment for the investor, assure flexibility and ease of application for the installer and ensure operational reliability for the user. Utilities Department that exclusively handles the preparation and submission of public tender proposals.

23 Business Development 2 Switchboard production plants Design and production of superior quality products low and medium voltage switchboards based on project-specific requirements and specifications. Switchboard components and cabinets are sourced from the world s leading manufacturers of branded electrical equipment. As a result, every switchboard produced is an integrated and fully functional unit certified by top European testing centers. Production of 6,900 switchboards annually.

34 References LAFARGE GROUP The project objective Supply of electrical MRO material for the Lafarge Group and Lafarge Cement. Location 3 cement plants and 45 aggregate plants. 35 References UNILEVER The project As part of its environmental commitment and in order to reduce its energy footprint, Unilever Hellas asked our Lighting Department to upgrade the lighting systems in the company s new offices. The solution Focusing on fully meeting office space lighting requirements while achieving maximum energy efficiency, we used LED technology lighting fixtures for excellent performance and energy savings. The result We successfully met performance and lighting quality requirements while reducing energy costs by 45% compared to a conventional fluorescent lamp solution. The initial investment for the 765 LED luminaires is amortized in less than 2 years.

36 References DIVANI APOLLON PALACE & THALASSO The project The Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso Resort asked us to prepare a lighting cost and energy optimization plan. Given the round-the-clock hospitality operation and the resulting high energy costs, the top priorities were energy savings and lighting cost reductions. The solution We recommended the replacement of all incandescent and halogen lamps with LED technology lamps. The result We achieved energy savings of about 80% thanks to the long life, low energy consumption, high performance and advanced technical specifications of the recommended lamps. The expected payback period for the initial investment was reduced to 11 months. We delivered excellent and long lasting lighting quality by using branded, quality assured products.

37 References ΙΝΤΕRSPORT The project & the need Lighting which offers reliable solutions in terms of customer movement and orientation, as well as safety and rational use of electricity. The design also contributes to higher sales through the effective showcasing of products, while creating the appropriate atmosphere, showing goods in their true colors and illuminating to best advantage their form and texture. The lighting scheme works hand in hand with the architecture and décor, is easy to maintain and sufficiently versatile to allow future changes in the layout of the venue.

38 References FRIESLAND CAMPINA The project Friesland Campina Hellas SA asked our Lighting Department to undertake the energy upgrading of the production floor, offices and common use areas at the company s plant in Patras. The solution Considering the specific production area requirements, we replaced the existing equipment with LED technology lighting fixtures, meeting demanding temperature and lighting requirements. The result The replacement of 440 lighting fixtures in all aforementioned areas resulted in energy savings of over 60% and a 2- year payback period.
