2 ADVERT TEXT MARKETING CAMPAIGN ANALYST FULL TIME, FIXED TERM MATERNITY COVER Based within our Marketing team and reporting directly to the CRM & Loyalty Manager, you will be responsible for: Working within the Marketing Planning and Analysis team, understanding our members and supporting decision making through providing marketing analysis and insight to the business Providing relevant member (customer) selections for marketing activities, and ascertain their success Providing, developing and streamline reporting to monitor performance and support decision making Delivering meaningful insight to the business and make recommended improvements to contact strategy and Member retention initiatives Candidates must have: Proven experience in marketing analysis or CRM A statistical or mathematical orientated degree or equivalent The ability to demonstrate numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail Excellent Excel skills with the ability to manipulate data between worksheets and turn into meaningful diagrams The ability to analyse large datasets Positivity, self-motivation and be a team player

3 THE WINE SOCIETY JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Marketing Campaign Analyst Department: Marketing Planning and Analysis Team, Marketing Responsible to: CRM & Loyalty Manager, Marketing Job purpose: To work in the Marketing Planning and Analysis team to understand our members and support decision making through providing marketing analysis and insight to the business To provide relevant member (customer) selections for marketing activities, and ascertain their success To provide, develop and streamline reporting to monitor performance and support decision making To deliver meaningful insight to the business and make recommended improvements to contact strategy and Member retention initiatives Main Duties: Responsible for preparing the data for marketing communications (mailings and s). Plan the data strategy for mailing packs to maximise response from the members for the range of offers within the communication programme. Develop and document the selection criteria and extract data to agreed campaign timescales Analyse the success of offers and campaigns, proposing new tests and improvements for future campaigns. Own monthly and quarterly campaign review process, defining and refining the process whilst inputting strategic insight from end to end. Produce summary documentation for quarterly & annual campaign performance Produce and document ad hoc reporting relating to marketing activities and members as required by the business. Plan the ad hoc workload with the CRM & Loyalty Manager

4 Produce monthly reports that monitor and comment on performance and trends, and develop those reports in line with changing requirements Work with Marketing staff to develop regular reports and train staff to use them effectively Coordinate CRM activity. Own the day to day implementation of contact strategy, from welcome journey, through to active segments and lapse journey. Drive improvements through delivering on actionable insight in these areas. Act as support in the send process Manage day-to-day relationship with third party analytics and data platform provider. Champion best practice and innovations to the wider business, whilst owning and implementing improvements to The Wine Society contact selection and send process Health and Safety: All employees have a responsibility to carry out their work in a safe manner, reporting any incidents or problems to their Team Leader or Manager and taking all reasonable steps to minimise risk to both self and others.
