4 The terminal The fts terminal is perfect for businesses of any size. With the option of using the extremely accurate built in biometric scanner or the RFID card scanner this terminal is ideal for small business as well as large. This easy to use tablet only requires power and Wi-Fi connection to take employee clocking. With the tablet connecting to your main database via your Wi-Fi connection you will be able to review all clocking taken through the tablet from your computer at any time, allowing you to see what time employees have arrived and who is absent. fts IO is a web-based solution which offers complete management of attended time. We offer accurate clocking terminals as well as the ability for employees to clock using their PC, tablet or mobile phone. Our most common product is the biometric fingerprint scanner due to level of security it offers, with this solution the possibility of buddy clocking becomes a thing of the past giving you accurate attendance times for every employee. 4

5 The fts mobile clocking App The fts mobile clocking application works in the same way as the terminal to post clocking s in the online system. Employees can download this on any smart phone from the app store. The app can be logged into manually by entering the personal account details or by using Face or Touch ID. Once inside, the employee can set a photo for their account. This will not be in the system but will show on the home page of the app. When inside the App you can make clocking s, view your clocking card and send Queries to the administrator. The App uses GPS location recording to plot an employee s clocking location by dropping a pin on the map, this means that the location in which the clocking is made can be seen by the administrator to ensure they are at the correct location when making a clocking. This feature pinpoints the employee s location from where the clocking is made and doesn t track the employee throughout the shift making it fully GDPR compliant. The application is perfect for a range of uses including office, factory and especially site work. 5

6 Who s In, Monitoring employee clocking With our in and out system, ftsio, there will only be a minimal amount of moderation to be done. Saving you both time and money when it comes to exporting worked hours for payroll. This is done through our online system which can be reviewed on any device with an internet connection. On the left you can see the main home page of the in and out system. This is where all your moderation will be done. When using the system your time will be mostly spent on the top tab of the drop-down menu. This is the Clocking s and Exceptions page. It is where you will see the hours worked by your employees. On the right you can see an example of how an employee s clocking record may look. This gives you the options to look at the current working week s hours as well as reviewing the hours worked in past weeks. From this page you can see the time that the employee has clocked in, clocked out, the hours worked that day and a total of the hours worked in that week. 6

7 Who s In, Monitoring employee clocking The screen on the left is the Employees clocked in page. This shows the employees that are currently in and that have been clocked in for over 24 hours (highlighting they may have forgotten to clock out). This is a pop up window that auto refreshes so you can have it open in the background when working on your computer and periodically check to make sure employees are clocking in when expected. With the location recording function in the app you will be able to see the location of an employee when they first make a clocking. This is a useful function for employers who have staff working across different locations on different days or for industry s like building and maintenance in which employees will be working at different locations. The locations of clocking made by employees can be viewed on the employee locations window. 7
