4 1 ATTRACT THE BEST TALENT Data-driven targeted communications Use our media channels to talk directly to your target audience, such as students considering university, applicants who haven t received any offers, accepted applicants, or even graduates who would be a good fit for your company (using our Attract service). > What do you get? Highly targeted , SMS, direct mail, or digital placing of messaging. > When do you get it? At any point in the cycle that s relevant to you. Commercial Employers Digital ID service If your products or services are only available to verified applicants (e.g. student bank accounts), this service confirms their eligibility, by allowing you to match them to our application data. > What do you get? Find out more > Direct contact service (DCS) Recruit unplaced applicants in Clearing who ve been matched to your course vacancies, based on your historical acceptances. 6 REFINE YOUR IN-CYCLE STRATEGY 3 Application and Decision Tracker FREE Provider-level deadline reporting Access the only source of unrounded, in-cycle applications and decisions data. Updated online, weekly, throughout the cycle, you can view comparable statistics for the previous two cycles, and your application volumes and decision states, as well as those of specific competitors, and the sector as a whole. Weekly updated reports can also be downloaded and used in your own data systems. > What do you get? Access to an online portal and weekly reports. > When do you get it? Available throughout the cycle. Understand your own current in-cycle situation with providerlevel application deadline reporting, enabling you to compare your own situation with the whole sector, at key points in the cycle, and adjust as needed. This service is provided as part of the UCAS capitation fee. > What do you get? Provider-level versions of the public reports, including CSV data files to support integration with your own data systems. > When do you get it? FREE Published in-cycle statistics Understand the current cycle situation at a sector-level, with daily Clearing analysis, and application deadline reporting. Statistics are often accompanied by a short commentary report, summarising the main themes of the published data. This service is provided as part of the UCAS capitation fee. > What do you get? A statistical release on ucas.com. > When do you get it? Following the October, January and June deadlines, and daily throughout Confirmation and Clearing. Postgraduate Application Insight Service (PG AIS) Our postgraduate application insight service, the first of our postgraduate data insight products, delivers an easy to use and entirely flexible monthly snapshot of applications putting you in control of recruitment performance. With it, you can analyse subject areas by mode of study, offer status, fee status, or type of study, and see how competitors compare. > What do you get? A publication of daily in-cycle statistics for all NCTL allocated training programmes by subject, course type, and region, and a daily extract of registrants who have consented to be contacted. > When do you get it? A bundled package of EXACT CSV data files. FREE STROBE data matching Allows you to obtain aggregated statistics, relating to known individuals we can match to our data, on outcomes in higher education. STROBE is particularly relevant to providers of outreach activities, seeking to evaluate the outcomes achieved for their participants, and anyone wishing to evaluate the return on investment from hard-to-measure interventions or activities such as open days. This service is provided as part of the UCAS capitation fee where the focus is on widening participation. > What do you get? This service is provided as part of the UCAS capitation fee. > What do you get? The ability to review our statistical breakdown of the previous cycle. > When do you get it? After the end of cycle data is published in January. Please contact your UCAS relationship manager. Understand where your applicants come from by Apply centre and explore where you re currently not getting applicants from, but could be use this to inform your schools liaison strategy, and understand qualification types you can draw upon. > What do you get? A bundled packaged of EXACT CSV data files. EXACT data A query-led data service, which allows you to understand your own, and your competitors, performance, identify trends, and inform strategic decision-making about future course or programme provision and demand. > What do you get? This service is provided as part of the UCAS capitation fee. > What do you get? A report showing statistics, alongside measures that show them in context, and CSV data file for further analysis. > When do you get it? Equality reports are published on ucas.com at the end of January you have a four-week preview period of the reports ahead of the publication. Student decisions report Hear the student s voice find out which factors were the most important to applicants in deciding which offers to accept. Use this provider-level report to understand which areas you re strongest in, your priority areas for development, and how you re performing against your competitors. > What do you get? Detailed reports highlighting factors which have been important to students decision-making, including the free text they ve included. > When do you get it? Marketscan Understand the market trends for a group of courses, to simplify decisions around course titling, course viability, mergers, removals, and additions. > What do you get? A report examining the specific courses you re interested in. Student banking reports Understand in detail the market in student bank accounts, and where your brand fits.
