Job Title: Senior Project Manager- Monroe County Systems Integration Project FLSA Classification: Reports to: Exempt Project Director Summary The Monroe County Systems Integration Project is a five-year communitywide effort to create more aligned, person-centered service delivery for individuals who are vulnerable or living in poverty, as they successfully transition from crisis to stable to thriving. The key outputs of the Systems Integration Project include the implementation of coordinated workflows that bridge the health, human service, and education sectors, and the design and implementation of an integrated data ecosystem across 300 providers. The Systems Integration Project is led by a community advisory board (the Systems Integration Team). United Way of Greater Rochester is the Fiduciary Agent for the project, and host to the Systems Integration Project Office, which is directly responsible for successful project implementation, including: Ensuring all project obligations and deliverables are met, including the successful execution of Integrated Service Delivery across sectors, Data Ecosystem Design and Implementation, maintenance of Shared Language, and Sustainability planning Developing and maintaining a Legally Compliant Framework, especially as it relates to security, privacy, and other risks

2 Actively managing a Partner Engagement strategy to: o Define and maintain community-will through facilitation and consensus building o Test, monitor, and modify solutions to achieve community good o Foster trust, shared accountability, and transparency across new and existing workgroups, committees, institutions, and vendors Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Manage all aspects of multiple related work streams to ensure the overall project is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of priority objectives Responsible for the internal operations of the Systems Integration Project Office Provide leadership and oversight for the project team by building and motivating team members to adhere to their responsibilities and meet project goals and project milestones Build and maintain team culture Ensure alignment and coordination across all project workgroups and activities Support the Project Director to ensure communication flows across various stakeholders and structures Work and engage with external stakeholders, including state and local officials, non-profit organizations, community leaders, government agencies, service providers, funders, and coalitions Set and continually manage project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverables with project staff and stakeholders Provide status reports regarding project milestones, deliverable dependencies, risks and issues Demonstrate functional acumen to support how solutions will address community-defined priorities, while maintaining alignment with evolving industry standards Participate and/or drive feasibility studies, vendor selections and proposals for evaluations by appropriate key stakeholders Maintain agile project management processes in support of timely and responsive project implementation Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature Systems Integration Project Office capabilities throughout project implementation Identify financial and non-financial resources to support concrete ideas that come out of committee and workgroup action plans Identify and develop trusted adviser relationship with project stakeholders Ensure that communication is flowing across the project s

3 various structures and stakeholders Identify information (both qualitative and quantitative) required to make decisions; conduct research, analyze, and create material for appropriate audiences in partnership with SIP Implementation Team Ensure the Project Office models the Systems Integration Project s guiding principles of Transparency, Accountability, Community Focus, Agility, and Respect Consistently demonstrate the values and mission of the United Way Perform other duties as assigned Competencies A track record of managing, inspiring, and developing high-performing teams Critical thinking to analyze complex situations and independently determine the appropriate course of action Ability to think and problem solve at a systems level, as opposed to only on a program or organizational delivery level (e.g., identify strategies focused on increasing coordination or filling gaps in service) Comfort with work planning and managing multiple priorities in a context of change and ambiguity, and adapting to changing needs or momentum Experience with facilitating meetings and ensuring coordination/collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams Strong sense of urgency and proven background meeting stringent timelines for project deliverables Ability to proactively identify and address project risks and issues Dedication to improving outcomes for community members Experience working with stakeholder groups that are diverse in their culture, ethnicity, socio-economic status, and other experiences Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects concurrently Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) Supervisory Responsibility This position has supervisory responsibility Physical Demands/ Work Environment See below Travel Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out of town and overnight travel may be required.

4 Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor s Degree in related field with at least 7 years of progressive project/program management experience.
