JOB DESCRIPTION: ROAD SAFETY OFFICER Road Safety Officer Salary Band: Band 2 Salary range: $21,614 - $25,937 Enforcement Manager Enforcement The position is responsible to enforce traffic safety related laws under Land Transport Act 1998, Land Transport Regulations 2000 and Electronic Fare Ticketing Regulations. 1. Provide an on-road undertaking high visibility patrols, set up and manage road check points. Issuance of TINs to all motor vehicle drivers and owners for not complying Land Transport ACT 1998 and Regulations (2000) and Electronic Fare Ticketing Regulations. 2. Attend to 582 text and PSV complains. Issue warning notices to drivers, owners, prepare show cause file, record statement. 3. Escort high-risk vehicles and loads to improve journey time for all road users 4. Issuance of Defects Orders for non-compliance vehicles operating on our roads under VRC Regulation 2000 and Advise customers on nature of defects found and procedures for clearing of defect orders 5. Provide a high level of customer service and care. 6. Attend legal proceedings and provide evidence in court as a witness as and when required Testify in court regarding the circumstances surrounding and reasons for issuing TIN citations 1. Submission of reports on number of TIN issuance 2. Submission of reports on number of Defect Orders 3. Number of Court Proceedings attended and prosecuted 4. JOB DESCRIPTION: TEAM LEADER LOAD MANAGEMENT Team Leader Load Management Salary Band: Band 5 Salary range: $41,536 - $49,843 Enforcement Manager Enforcement The Team Leader Load Management will be responsible of the Weighbridge and portable scale operations and leading Weighbridge Technician in servicing, ensuring full time functionality and repairing of the fixed weigh bridges and portable weigh scales. Be responsible for ensuring that all weigh scales are calibrated at all times. Train, learn and maintain a good understanding of the Trade Measurement System. 1. Managing of daily shift operations, assigning and rostering teams and briefing and debriefing before and after shifts. Maintaining daily vehicle inspection records of all vehicles weighed with actions taken and submits to Manager Enforcements office in a timely manner. Timely submission of daily, weekly and monthly reports. Also Report any anomalies/errors to the weighbridge system to weighbridge technician immediately to the Weighbridge Technician.

3 2. Set proper guidelines for Weighbridge officers and ensure that sire rules are being followed by customers. Ensure housekeeping on the weighbridge (and general areas of the weighbridge) including the office in a clean, tidy and hazard free condition at all times. 3. Ensure that all weighbridge staff is fully aware of their duties and have the necessary training. Train where appropriate. 4. Ensure all reports/paperwork/contracts are in line with company procedures, the weighbridge is covered and attended during all opening times and the facility is in compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures. 5. Keep records of all documents for procurements. Check and maintain vehicle running sheets and ensure functionality of vehicles at all time with regular servicing and maintenance. 6. Ensure that all weighing equipment are in running order at all times, all equipment is calibrated and certified. JOB DESCRIPTION: SENIOR LEGAL OFFICER Senior Legal Officer Salary Band: Band 5 Salary range: $41,536 - $49,843 Legal Manager Legal The position of the Senior Legal Officer reports to the Manager Legal Services and will be responsible in delivering effective and efficient legal support services to the Authority. 1. Litigation of cases for the Authority in the Magistrates Court and in the High Court and Court of Appeal 2. Assist with the responsibility of representing the Authority to the Land Transport Appeals Tribunal 3. Represent the Authority in the Employment Relations Tribunal and Employment High Court; 4. Be able to assist in advisory and vetting all LTA Board related matters as per meetings scheduled 5. Attend meetings involving stakeholders of the Authority 6. Has the ability to supervise the Legal Department in the absence of the Manager Legal Services 7. Ability to make firm and logical decisions in accordance to law and policies 1.
