2 Integrated Planning and Reporting Local Government Amendment (Planning and Reporting) Bill 2009 All NSW councils required to establish an Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP&R) Framework Aimed at assisting local councils to: - focus on providing better services to their communities - improve long-term strategic planning and resource management - achieve integrated statutory planning and reporting.

3 Newcastle IP&R Framework Development Project A single continuous framework for Council activities: better decision making linking projects and outcomes to objectives and priorities priority setting and efficiencies improved planning and reporting systems.
