The generic pre-placement talks describe the company, profile and expectations. Interactive sessions Lately, interactive sessions in the form of soft-skill seminars, case study competitions and speaker sessions are status quo for building a relationship with their prospective employees.some of the companies that engaged with us for Corporate Sessions include, Ernst and Young (Soft Skills Session), KPMG(Lunchbox Session), American Express, Perspectico, PwC, Willis Towers Watson and StartupEd amongst others. Event collaborations Levitate ; the Annual Corporate Confluence of Kirori Mal College witnessed the On-Campus presence of 30 companies for the internship fair, the collaboration of numerous other companies as sponsors, representative speakers and judgement panels.

This continuous success can be attributed to our illustrious faculty whose mentoring and strong conviction led to a productive placement session with students being placed across various roles of their choice. Team Avenues is immensely obliged to all the people whose efforts have made this process a new benchmark for success. During the session, The Cell successfully associated with the corporate giants like Ernst & Young, PWC, Deloitte, KPMG, American Express, S&P Global, D.E. Shaw, ID Insight, Byju s, Mckinsey, etc thereby providing the graduating batch with premium placement opportunities that were complemented by rewarding pay packages and diverse profiles. A total of 440 students registered for the placement session from multiple backgrounds including Mathematics, English, Statistics, Economics, Commerce and so on. The immense confidence of the leading organisations in the exceptional capabilities of the students of Kirori Mal College was evinced in the placement session which saw 73 companies offering an average of INR 4.6 LPA. Over 80 students got placed with the average CTC accepted being INR 4.1 LPA. The most impressive package was valued at INR 19.5 LPA which was offered by D.E. Shaw.

Shaw, valued at 19 LPA. We take pride in announcing that the Cell was successful in assisting the students in attaining INR 3,36,00,000 worth of salary packages in total.

The Cell not only provides career/internship opportunities to students but also brings to them opportunities from various professional profiles like Articleship and Actuaries. The distinctive number of offers this year portrays the industry s confidence in Kirori Mal College for the quality of students in a vastly growing and competitive market. They delivered again as always, by attracting leading companies which offered niche profiles to the students. Reputed companies like EY India, KPMG, Mazars, Vinod Kumar and Associates shared articleship opportunities with the students. Venerated companies like PwC and Willis Towers Watson also provided Actuarial profiles for the students of KMC. During this session, the number of fellowship profiles offered reached higher levels and was attested by renowned recruiters like Scraplabs, Socialcops and Teach for India. Out of the specified companies, highest stipend offered for Articleship profile was offered by Mazars, with 10 students selected. The highest stipend offered for fellowship profile was 4.8 LPA by Socialcops. 12 A V E N U E S - T H E P L A C E M E N T C E L L 1 1 RECRUITMENT STRUCTURE Avenues-The Placement Cell to ensure harmony in the interests of students and companies has devised a tier structure for categorization of companies. This is done to ensure that recruitment can be made from an equitable talent pool for all companies and can translate into acceptance. TIER SYSTEM - TIER 1, TIER 2 & TIER 3 The visiting companies will be distinguished into three broad tiers for a more comprehensive understanding. The division will be made on the basis of certain parameters, namely; Compensation offered Company profile The desirability of job profile Years of association Campus engagement beyond placements In addition to the aforementioned, a Dream Tier will be introduced inclusive of extremely venerated firms. However, the qualification of the said companies into the Dream Tier rests entirely on the discretion of Team Avenues. RECRUITMENT SESSION Placement process will be conducted in two phases: Phase I: 1st August st October 2018 Phase II: 10th January st March 2019 DECLARATION OF RESULTS It is advisable to the recruiter to announce the result and the waiting list (if any) and forward the offer letters within a week following the placement drive. This will ensure finalization of the offer letter which will in turn lock in the talent intended to be recruited. RECEIPT OF OFFER LETTER RECEIPT OF FIRST OFFER LETTER Receipt of the first offer letter (Tier 1/Tier 2/Tier 3) renders the candidate ineligible for further placements from subsequent Tier 3 companies. The candidate may, however, pursue a Dream Tier/Tier 1/Tier 2 company for a subsequent offer letter. RECEIPT OF SUBSEQUENT OFFER LETTER Receipt of subsequent offer letter (which by default will be from a Dream Tier /Tier 1/Tier 2 company) renders the candidate ineligible from all further processes. FORMAL ACCEPTANCE OF AN OFFER Any formal acceptance given to an employment offer will render the candidate entirely ineligible for all other placements.
